Living while waiting for the other shoe to drop!
So much blood work, ultrasounds, endoscope, and biopsy resulted in the diagnosis of stage 4 cirrhosis, fatty liver, PBC, GERD, and
gastritis
. For the first couple of months I read everything I could about this disease; the more I read the more obsessed I became.

Do I have Pernicious Anaemia?
Maybe Atrophic
Gastritis
or PA? This is all very new to me and I would welcome any advice or guidance.

Low Vit b12 and Ferritin. Possibly PA?
I had h pylori and severe
gastritis
8 years ago. A test last year was negative for a reappearance of h pylori. I have had bouts of severe vomiting since then.

High tsh, high t4 continues...
I should also mention I have an ongoing vomiting problem due to suspected
gastritis
- but I'm evidently absorbing the levothyroxine given my t4 levels. Could gastro issues cause a t3 conversion issue? Or any other likely suspects?!

Hospital again.....
Gastritis
and oesophageal inflammation was the cause. Now I know this can cause some bad pain but crikey, in my right shoulder blade? I remain convinced it is lung related but for now we shall listen to the doctors and see what omeprazole and steroids can do. Hope you are all well x

Hydroxychloroquine and stomach problems
I feel like I probably have
gastritis
, because my stomach is sore a lot of the time. I know digestive upset can be caused by hydroxychloroquine. Does it depend on the make of drug? (I seem to remember a reference to that in the past?). And if so, is there a brand that I'd be better off taking?

Ongoing nausea and stomach discomfort accompanied by differing bowel movements
After my exams finished, the symptoms appeared to go away, so the whole episode was put down as
gastritis
and stress related. I didn’t have any further problems until May 2015 when I had to leave a cinema halfway through a film due to abdominal pain and nausea.

Need to find a understanding well educated thyroid doctor or Endocrinologist please.
My long battle began with chronic fatigue hiartus hernia,
gastritis
, stomach polyps and weight gain despite various diets and seeing a nutritionist on an anti candida diet (no bread, yeast , processed foods or sugar and everything organic) for 6 moths not losing any weight.

Halo test.
Ok, my 18 year old son has
Gastritis
diagnosed in Nov 16. His last B12 test was 174 (within range by low end) he has symptoms of PA . His GPC and IF tests have come back negative. There is a strong family history of PA.

New to PA
I had also had a host of gastro problems which led to having an endoscopy revealing mild
gastritis
/duodenitis. My mother has PA so I asked for B12 and vit D tests alongside more bloods taken for Tsat% They came back low but within range... Tsat was above range.

Test results - advice on vitamin supplements please
I recently had a prolonged bout of
gastritis
following fibriod surgery before Xmas. I was prescribed high doses of Nexium and Ranitidine to deal with the stomach acid, which played havoc with my thyroid levels for a while. My T4 shot too high, with resulting palpitations and anxiety.

Gastroenterologist says a positive IFA & Parietal Cell antibody result does not mean I have P.A. ?! HELP & advice please
Gastro arranging to test for H.Pylori / Coeliac / and
Gastritis
, and cannot recommend B12 jabs until she sees proof . I was under the impression that a positive IFA antibody test WAS PROOF ?

Newbie introduction
I had a number of investigations which only diagnosed
gastritis
and didn't account for the pain. The gastro team at the hospital discharged me back to my GP with a view to pain management. I also suffer from depression and anxiety and this problem obviously affected them.
