are you being treated for a B12 absorption problem?

I couldn't find trimephoprine listed as a drug but did find trimethoprim - it looks like this is often combined with sulfamexazole - a drug which can interfere with B12 absorption (as well as folate and B6) but a course of a week-10 days of antibiotics shouldn't be enough to cause adverse effects

click on the vitamin B12 link to see details. The details imply that it is a problem with absorption in the gut rather than a problem once it has got into your blood so if you are on B12 shots it shouldn't really make a difference.
