Occult cancer in patients with deep-vein thrombosis [DVT].

But for men with PCa who have not suffered a DVT, it is a warning that coagulation factors are nonetheless altered. In PCa, micro-clots

Pneumonia
Hi everyone. It has been a challenging couple of days at my house. Tuesday night, out of the blue, my husband started having chills. I ran for the thermometer and took his temp and it was 101. He has had a few urinary tract infections over the years and he thought it was probably that. He agreed to

AF and Acute Bronchitis
I have had AFib for many years. I am a 78 yr old male have a pacemaker and had an ablation about a year ago, am on warfarin. The end of March 2017 I became sick and was given a chest x-ray. Dr. thought I might have pneumonia, turned out I had acute bronchitis. I was prescribed Biaxin and prednisone.

I have had a lung infection . Had 3 lots anti biotics, also 3 lots of steroids. Am clear of infection but still wheezy and need an inhaler. I seem to have developed an allergy to pollen too. The breathlessness frightens me. I have never had anything like this before. I had a chest X-ray, clear. I have

Rheumatoid Arthritis, Hypothyroidism and frequent chest infections
I am now 43 and was diagnosed with Underactive Thyroid at 30 and RA at 34. I have been on Methotrexate since RA diagnosis and tried various other DMARDS but none were helpful. 2 years ago, I was approved to try an anti TNF called Cimzia. It was very successful at putting my RA into remission. However

Really worried about the future.
Hello again, I spent a sleepless night last night (mostly on here) and am leaving Google alone, I guess I am not unique from other posts that most newly diagnosed emphysema suffers automatically think I am breathless I must be dying and only at best have a few years left, it is heartening to see some

acid reflux
Hi there, I had an oesophagectomy 3 years ago. I take Lanzoprazole 30mg twice daily. I am having the most vile acid reflux, it wakes me up and then I am unwell for 2 - 3 days afterwards. I have had a barium swallow, and a chest x-ray, nothing was found on these. Has anyone any tips for stopping the acid

MPD life and Professor Harrison
Hi Maz. Have noticed that I haven't had a copy of MPD newsletter this year. Has my subscription run out? I also watched a video of a forum in 2014 when Prof. Harrison talked about the latest research but can not now locate it. Am a bit wobbly right now because I had another blood test last week
