Caffeine and spirometery tests
Hi everyone. Ive just been reading about the effects caffeine apparently can have on spirometry tests. Quite suprised when it stated caffeine is a bronchodialator that can last up to 4 hours after having say, a cup of tea or coffee or a coke etc so it could lead to false spirometery readings and so the

Intal/Tilade - Medication for exercise induced asthma
I have been doing some research whilst trying to rest up after the weekend, and it seems there are some medications around which target exercise induced asthma. Generally my asthma is reasonably well controlled, but exercise remains an issue for me. For example this weekend, I used ventolin before I

Infection after Laproscopy
Hi all, I had a laparoscopy 22/05/18. I was under for 3 hours and they removed a lot of endo but not all. They had to make two additional incisions too so I have 3 wounds healing from the lap. The two on either side of my abdomen seem to be healing fine (touch wood) a little itchiness which is good

I was taking my daily fish oil capsule this morning when my husband mentioned that his cousin actually used to chew hers when they were given them daily as children. That suddenly brought back memories of National Dried Milk and Welfare orange juice and cod liver oil. Can any older carers, or indeed

Spinal cord stimulator
I was recently recommended for a spinal cord stimulator (SCS) implant, as I have failed all conservative pain management attempts (both pharmacological and non-pharmacological) for neuropathic pain. I found out earlier this week that I was approved for a four day trial, which is scheduled for 6/25/18

Vitamin level results, Hashimoto’s.
Morning, Can the experts just let me know if my vitamin levels are ok. I have Hashimoto’s and I’m on 100mcg of Levothyroxine with a blood test (early morning) planned in a few weeks for an increase. I’m feeling better, but, I’m not 100%, still cold, worn out in the mornings despite sleeping right

Bronchitis sinusitis... comes with the territory?
Last year, before being diagnosed with W&W CLL, I got bronchial and sinus congestion that trailed on for a couple of months... This year, dealing with same, mostly sinusitis, but some bronchial mucous, etc. . Prior to CLL, I rarely had colds... now seemingly it will be chronic also. Surely others have
