Fostair - So far so good!
Well Peeps, day 3 of the previously dreaded Fostair on the advice of my GP practice Pharmacist/Respiratory Nurse, & no side effects whatsoever. What I was dreading was similar to the previous 'maintenance' inhalers, Tiotropium & Aclidinium, both of which delivered a paradoxic reaction & had to be stopped

Accelerated speed of discovery could lead to more effective smoking cessation aids.
Smoking claims the lives of more than seven million people each year. Smoking tobacco delivers nicotine to the neuroreceptors responsible for addiction, affecting the nervous system and causing addiction.A new study, led by scientists from the University of Bristol, into the molecular interactions involved

Why is the skin on my penis shiny/scaly?
I'm completely baffled by it. I just have no idea why it's like this. It's like a scaly/crystal like texture, and when you shine light on it you can see it really badly. At first I thought the skin might just be dry? But I've been using E45 cream twice a day for months now and it's not done anything.

Having a panic attack over health anxiety
I was at work yesterday (in a kitchen) and I got a small blister on my finger. It popped and the skin came off without me realising and I had to continue to work washing dishes, cleaning etc. Anyway, I have health anxiety and it's really hurting, throbbing and feels hot and I'm currently having a panic

Jack Frost.
I remember years ago When Jack Frost was my friend Thinking back to days gone by Why did that friendship end? He always made me catch my breath When he suddenly appeared But soon I would be making steam With nothing to be feared Cosy nights by the fireside With a cup of tea Whilst Jack played around

Feel like I’ve had the cold/flu for months!!
Anyone else struggling to get rid of a cold. I’ve had bad allergies over this summer very congested and for the past 2 months I’ve had either a constant flu or back to back colds. Sneezy, congested, sinus pain etc. It just won’t go away and now has me quite worried :-(

What supplements do folk use for PMR ?
I was wondering what supplements people use with PMR to help both the condition and to counteract the pred side effects? I’m coming up to the first anniversary of diagnosis and have tapered to about 6mg which I can’t get below at the moment. I supplement with Fultium D3 daily and a cod liver oil capsule
