Well Peeps, day 3 of the previously dreaded Fostair on the advice of my GP practice Pharmacist/Respiratory Nurse, & no side effects whatsoever. What I was dreading was similar to the previous 'maintenance' inhalers, Tiotropium & Aclidinium, both of which delivered a paradoxic reaction & had to be stopped. No coughing at al now, & my evening dose of Salbutamol is no longer needed so far, thankfully!

Fostair - So far so good!

Good for you 😊 I'm glad it's working so far. Fostair didn't work at all for me, in fact it made things a lot worse, but I know it's greatly improved things for others. Currently I have tiotropium and seretide, neither of which are overly helpful to me but certainly better than fostair. Hoping it continues to help you improve 🤞
Dont you look dandy all suited and booted glad the new meds are helping you long may it continue ☺️
Well, don't you look healthy and happy? However, the simplest of things can make life feel good again, asin your case, a medication that works. So glad for you, and good news makes us all happy and lifts the spirits. Chrys
It just shows how different we all are, and I am glad you are doing well on it.
Fostair is down on my notes as a no no, together with penicillin and amocycillin , as it didn't suit me at all.
That's good news- I too have improved since being on fostair though it doesn.t seem to suit everyone Anita
Hi! I’m on 800 mcgof Fostair a day and have had no problems. I can see why people have problems with it because it leaves a chalky residue in your mouth. I’m hoping to cut down to 400 mcg a day in March April.
I have been taking Tiotropium and Seretide inhalers together, off and on for years now.
No ill effects.
