Symptoms not going away

Good morning,

I had my liver biopsy yesterday for elevated liver enzymes. They have not returned to normal after 8 months of abstinence. Is this a sign that advanced disease has already set in? My numbers went like this: ALT/AST -- 60/40(November), 60/40, 154/79, 108/54, 54/40 (May). I am so anxious I can barely think. I keep updating my email to check for a message from doctor. I know I have posted a few times about this, and don't know what to expect...but my gastroenterology dr is impossible to get a hold of and I am just looking for any insight while I await my results - not a diagnosis from this community but if anyone else had similar results and what ultimately came of it. I appreciate everything this site offers.

Best advice is not to hang around and wait. Get onto your GP and tell them you would like to be referred to have scans done. Bloods do. It tell the full story.
