Long term Fybogel use
I need to take Fyobgel quite a lot to help manage my symptoms and just wondered if it was safe to take
Fybogel
long term? I've been taking
Fybogel
almost daily for the last 6 months.

Bisacodyl
Taken Senna,
Fybogel
and Laxido and haven’t had any bowel movements. I’ve seen people say to take Bisacodyl as this is quite strong. What are people’s experiences with this? Does it work? When is the best time to take it?

I saw another gastro guy who suggested try
Fybogel
and I'm seeing a Dietician soon to get their view. Anyone else had/ has similar problems to me and any advice on whether
Fybogel
or diet has helped. He also mentioned Mebeverine which may be worth trying Thanks

Milled Flax so far so good
however my IBS C never seemed to go away and
fybogel
on prescription only helped with constipation and not bloating and pain every day even after eating small amounts .

Fybogel and diarrhea
I'd been constipated for over a week so started taking
fybogel
once a day, which worked a week later. Now Ive got cramps and diarrhea and don't know what to do? I take antispasmodic tablets and paracetamol but nothing is working, any ideas?

Many hypo symptoms have returned in the last 6 weeks or so, esp awful constipation (back on
Fybogel
twice a day)+cold hands+feet even in warm weather. I do hate socks on in bed but my feet are so cold. My hair’s lack lustre, too.

Advice on managing IBS symptoms
Several (including laxido,
fybogel
, and lactulose) have made my stool softer but I still could not empty my bowels properly and would have to go urgently several times throughout the day (to the point where I could not leave the house).

Abdomen pain - IBS
Can no longer tolerate any form of fibre and
Fybogel
is definitely a no no. Am on immune suppressants for rheumatoid disease so wonder if it is a side effect and wonder if IBS just gets worse with age.

constipation help
She insisted I follow her Plan. 3 docusate and 1
fybogel
sachet daily. To ignore what other drs have said. I began with this on 1st March, I’m now on day 6, have still not opened my bowels. I have terrible backache , stomach aches still, which she said is nothing to do with bowels.

miracle treatmen for IBSd
GPs over the years have only suggested
Fybogel
and probiotics which cost me £40 per month. I tried all sorts and types inc symprove , axis biotic and Alforex. I can’t tell you how life changing taking this miracle powder twice a day has change my life. In short I’ve got it back.

Laxatives for constipation
The gp has just changed me from laxido to
fybogel
mebeverine. I've taken half a sachet and the pain is horrendous. It is causing awful cramps. I'm not sure what to do as I can't carry on with the constipation. I tried upping the fibre and that did the same and aggrevated the symptoms 🥹

Another trigger?
I've been blaming the
Fybogel
and can't identify another culprit. They've got quite a list of ingredients, top of my suspects list are sucralose and aspartame but I'm no chemist. Any thoughts from anybody, any similar experience?

Health Anxiety
He asked to get a FCAL test done and put me on
Fybogel
. The test came back Normal. I was told by the receptionist that the doctors have said “no further action is required”. I don’t know what to do. I’m extremely stressed and anxious as my symptoms haven’t gone away. What should I do next.
