I’m 10w6d and I’m having terrible period like cramps. I go on holiday at 4am and I don’t know whether I need to panic or not. I’ve googled and it does say it’s normal for mild cramping but I would say it was a bit worse than mild. I was very constipated yesterday so currently having a fybogel. Can anyone advise please? Is this just to be expected?

10w6d bad cramps please help
hey. I had such bad cramping around week 10, I thought I was having another miscarriage. Turns out to be perfectly normal as long as no bleeding. I’m now 26wks so I think it was just my uterus expanding 💕 midwife said not to worry at all, totally normal. Best of luck for the rest of your pregnancy! xx
Congratulations on your pregnancy! I'm currently 13+2w pregnant and I've had cramping throughout. Often it felt like my period was about to come and I kept frantically checking my underwear for blood. Once I hit 12 weeks I started getting round ligament pain too which was really sharp and painful. That was scary. Is this your first pregnancy? I think particularly the first time round the cramps are worse because it's the first time your uterus and ligaments are being stretched. If you're really worried give your midwife a ring, they might book you in for an extra scan for peace of mind. Or if you can afford to do it privately that's a good option xxx
Hi Alwaysbelieving. Could you have a urine infection that can affect both sides. Get that checked out if not already done, and drink plenty of water and steer away from constipation. Hope all soon passes. Diane
I had awfull cramps up until about week 12. They were in my lower back and felt like really bad period pains but at 12 weeks scan all was fine! Don't have them now but am worrying about other things! Hopefully and probably its normal xxx
Hi there, I had quite bad cramping, I'd say it's different than mild because it was more constant. It lessened around week 11 or so. 💕💕
