How is this possible I thought over weight people only had under active thyroids. I started taking my vitamins after appt and have also changed

I am 71. Three years ago I started taking Atorvastatin as a precautionary measure, I'm assuming they are doing me some good. I broke my wrist Nov 11th 2016 and was sent for a dexascan. Results showed the onset of osteoporosis so I was prescribed a weekly Alendronic Acid tablet and Adcal-D3, to be taken

My quality of life has been on a rapid decline.. hoping someone can help.
I am 27 years old, a year ago happy and healthy until after a bike ride, the day after I had trouble breathing. After months of this getting worse and worse I finally was diagnosed with LPR (Silent Reflux) and started taking Ezomeprazole which for a period got it under control. I then started having

Next, Adcal-D3 which is Calcium. lastly, boxes of Prednisolone starting with 40mg par day all in one hit. Then slowly

Osteopenia
Anyone else diagnosed with PBC and osteopenia? What are you taking? I saw somewhere that it was important to include Vitamin K2 in addition to calcium and Vitamin D3 to direct them to the bones and not your arteries. I asked the question and my liver doctor who recommended the bone density scan is checking

Vitamin D3 quick question
@greygoose @seasidesusie and others I was taking a D3 (1000 iu X2) daily until recently. I recently found a very similar in size D3 which was 2000 iu; and was much cheaper from a good shop. I bought it thinking it's not only cheaper but also that I will need to take only 1. Just noticed on the bottle

What I’m eating today...
So far, I’ve had 1 1/2 pots of green tea with lemon, two glasses of kefir, two espressos ~ 1 decaf, & a small dish of oats soaked in kefir (grains first, pulses later for combining amino acids), plus a vitamin D3 supplement Lunch is going to be lentil, squash, chilli & cavolo soup with nutritional yeast

Overdosed on NDT without realising. Feel horrendous.
I'm posting here again because I am really, really struggling. I have just had the worst week I've had health wise in nearly 2 years. It would seem that I have been massively overdosing my Efra Thyroid. I upped my dosage following my discussion my Holistic Doctor at the start of October to 1 x 60mg

"Normal" but not optimal? Advice would be appreciated
Hi there I'm really appreciating this site and the information I've gleaned from it. I had blood tests done with Medichecks last week and I would appreciate some advice about the results as everything seems to be in range but I'm not feeling OK. I was put on 50mcg of levothyroxine back in March due to

What is it about Laura? And mojo maintenance?
I now have Laura on NHS Strength and Flex podcast (thanks to various advisors on giving this a go - well worth it) and she is quite hypnotic. In a good way. So am wandering around children's playgrounds at dawn flexing my quads and hams and looking for right-sized trees/playground equipment (I don't

Hello again forum. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in Sept this year, and as mentioned in an earlier post the GP I saw at that time said my bloods couldn't be re-done for 3 months. Thankfully, following advice here, I went back after 6 weeks on levo and saw a different GP who was happy to re-do my

A Continuing Success Story from Sheenah
Hello All Once again!! I put a brief post on yesterday and realised that I had not put a proper post on for two years. I'd like to share with you all what has happened since then. As I have a pretty bad dose of Flu and cant do anything much else, I thought I'd grab this chance. I would not be able to

Hi, I have been taking Vitamin K2 for a while along with Vitamin D3. The make I always have in Solgar K2 100mcg. I've just had my order delivered and it is Solgar again, but it says 100ug instead on the front and also instead of saying dietary supplement, it says food supplement. I just wanted to check
