Links between TSH and RLS. Have I found my cause in sub clinical hypothyroidism due to autoimmune disease Hashimoto syndrome?
As my RLS was under pretty good control I decided to see how I would go if I stopped my Tramadol 50-100mg daily, and tried CBD/THC oil instead. The answer was badly. My symptoms came back to the point I barely slept for 6 nights. And of course I also had withdrawal symptoms to deal with. As most of

Hello, I'm a long time hypothyroid patient but the last few years after covid have been a wild ride finding the right dose again. I'm curious if anyone can offer insight as to why the first one to two weeks of a medication dose increase I feel amazing and then I tank horribly after. All the hypo symptoms

Heart rate after levothyroxine increase
Hello all :) I recently got myself a private endocrinologist appointment after being increasingly frustrated by GPs being dismissive, and not wanting to increase my levothyroxine as my levels were "normal" despite still experiencing a lot of symptoms. I'm so glad I did, because she was very kind, completely

Hi- been under active for years and been on 100 micrograms of Levo for years as well. Feeling ok and levels always normal since. Had my annual check up last week and results just come back abnormal and too low (never had that before!) Serum TSH level 0.074 U/mL |0.38 - 5.33]; Below low reference

Pinkeye
Hi all, Mum was recently hospitalised with neck and foot pain, due to hypothyroidism. She also developed bad pinkeye, at the same time as the neck pain. Could this be thyroid eye disease? When she was in hospital for the second time with the foot pain and being unable to walk, her TSH was ~5.9.

Happy to be Here again!
I'm so happy to be back. Still on hyperthyroidism medications since 2020. My doc said we can't just stop it all like that with series of TSH tests and reviews monthly, hopefully all medications will stop one dayš

Difference in levels-stress?
I've been on leventhyroxine for years for underactive thyroid. Had yearly check muddle of Feb. TSH 2.09. Had full bloods for something else (WRS) and levels are 0.36 by middle if April. I'm wondering if stress can cause TSH to go up or down? Dr. Says this is in normal range for lab- but normal

TPO positive, history of early miscarriage's, no need to medicate however still being referred to endocrinologist?
Previously when speaking with my GP's I have not really got very far and didn't really feel like my concerns were being addressed or even acknowledged. No face to face or even telephone conversations, just the same old cycle of being sent for bloods then being told all ok or 'currently stable' etc.

anybody had these tests before?
Hi Everyone Long time, no post so I apologise. Since I last spoke to anyone I have been diagnosed with Osteoperosis, so fighting a number of demons. My Rheumatologist has been concerned about my ever decreasing levels of calcium despite eating calcium rich food and doubling my prescribed Calcium supplements

Hi all, I am new here but could really use some help. For months now Iāve been having a lot of symptoms, tired, achy bones and muscles, hair loss, terrible headaches and migraines every day. hello some advise regarding increase in my levo dose would be much appreciated. My last Tsh test in February was 2.15 (0.35-4.94) unfortunately no t4 or t3 Test. No vitamin test, but my iron levels reduced back into the normal range from being slightly over range. I am currently on 75 levo, haven't been

Research for effects of insufficient Levo starting dose
Hi Quick recap: Endo started me on 25 mcg of Levo following an ultrasound showing a Hashi thyroid and increasing TSH. It has been a week now and I feel ghastly. I had zero expectations of feeling better quickly, but definitely didnāt think I would be dosing off during meetings or feeling unsafe to

Thyroid ranges for teen
Does anyone know if thyroid ranges are the same for kids/under 18s as for adults? I've got a GP appt in a couple of weeks to discuss 14 year old (with acute anxiety) results. I've only got the TSH result, and it's come back normal at 0.87 (levels 0.51-4.3). Or am I safe to assume those would be
