ovaleap vs menopur - what worked for you?

Hi ladies 💖 I’m currently down regulating with for my third cycle of IVF with ICSI and the only change in protocol is that when I start stims it will be with menopur rather than ovaleap. My previous 2 cycles with ovaleap resulted in:

Cycle 1: 18 eggs, 12 mature, 6 fertilised and 2 blasts which were 2 x BFN.

Cycle 2: 19 eggs, 7 mature, 6 fertilised but abnormally so told there was an issue with egg quality.

Were having ivf due to very low sperm count and supposedly no known issues identified with me (yet!) Does anyone have any experience of switching from ovaleap to menopur and what were the results like if so?

I had better success with meriofert than ovaleap. We got one blastocyst from ovaleap which was a BFN and 6 blastocysts from meriofert and currently 13 weeks pregnant. Best of luck! X

Ooh is meriofert similar to menopur do you know? Amazing it worked so much better got you and congratulations 🥰 thank you xx

Yeah they’re very similar. For me, the change helped lots! Similar egg numbers collected but like I said big difference in blastocysts! Hope all goes well! Xx

I had better results with Menopur than Overleap, doing short protocol (no down regulation) both times. I was 40 (read somewhere Menopur can be good for older women?). All the best of luck.(I found 'it starts with the egg' helpful for improving egg quality as well)

I should have said I actually had Bemfola first round, but I believe it's the same thing as Ovaleap
