Just wondered if anyone had late periods following retrieval?
I had my withdrawal bleed not long after but I’m now on day 42 waiting for my period. Just wondered if this was normal?
We unfortunately didn’t have any eggs that fertilised so are planning on going again at th end of January but wasn’t sure it late periods would have a knock on effect and whether e should wait longer in between.

Yes this happened after both of my egg retrievals, withdrawal bleed within a few days and then late for my first natural bleed. Last time I had a freeze all so was heading straight into a FET after, I contacted my clinic as I was about 2 weeks late and they arranged a scan to check where I was in my cycle and then put me on norethisterone to force a bleed so I could start preparing for my FET. So it didn’t have any affect on my treatment, actually ended up bringing it forward. I would contact your clinic for advice and see how late they want you to be before they scan/investigate. The medication can really mix up your cycle As the 1st post says best to call you clinic for advice and what your next step will be
