Anyone taking fragmin?
On some medical websites it says
Fragmin
shouldn't be taken in pregnancy but my hosp says I should just as a precaution. Unsure what's best.

Not feeling so good
I am taking
fragmin
as you all know... Which is to prevent blood clots forming. Today I have rapidly gone down hill, chest pain, feels like a pile of books on my chest with stabbing pains now and then. Also my breathing is worse, hurts when I breath in...

You cannot make up the week I have had!
Conclusion was that the antibiotics where interfering with my
fragmin
anticoagulant ...so they changed my antibiotics to a different one. Went back home and rested. Friday night my mum was admitted to A&E with a heart attack and I have never felt so helpless.

I knew this day would come.....
I am petrified of not moving about incase I get more clots (yes I am still taking my coagulant injection
fragmin
)... The fear is still there. I am on the sofa, husband in bed and daughter in bed.. I cannot get off the sofa without help.. Our situation is dire and I really have no clue what to do.

Fragmin dosage query
I am currently using
fragmin
, the dosage being 18,000. At a haematology appointment last week, the consultant suggested at my next appointment reviewing the dosage and maybe looking to reduce it.

What will they do?
Almost died the first time, but thankfully now I am being treated with a it clotting injections (
fragmin
) at home... I self inject once a day. The doctors have already stated even before I had the MRI that they would not give me a new knee, if I needed one... See I am too young!?
