Saw doctor today. All test were clear which is great but he also said I had a negative blood test for ApS.
He looked at my notes and i had a negative test before my son was born but I was still given asprin and
fragmin
. He repeated the test and will do again in 3 months. If negative again he might take me off warfarin. Im so confused !!! Anyone else had the same thing ? Xx

Rivaroxaban
Hi, I have been injecting
Fragmin
since August this year and I get on well with them, however I am about to be swapped over to Rivaroxaban. I have just picked them up and read the side effects! Wow! Does anybody else have any experience of this drug and if so how do you find it?

INR when taking Fragminshot-
If my INR goes too low I have got
Fragmin
5000 IE in a shot. I have never used it. She has written to the hospital or too me that when I go under an INR of 1.8 I have to take the shot of
Fragmin
. I Think this is too low.

Is it the warfarin or something else?
I am wondering whether or not the warfarin is the problem, I am only taking lansoprazole with it. 4 days after stopping
fragmin
injections and taking warfarin my stomach started bloating at night, extreme pains both sides as if I had kidney or gallbladder problems and lower back pain with aching joints

3 months on warfarin for dvt?
Took 2 1/2 weeks for blood to rise from1.3 to 2.6 in those last 3 days of taking
fragmin
and warfarin. That weekend got dvt in opposite leg but doctor says it's not a dvt after measuring it. I didn't have swelling or redness on my first dvt.

Birth announcement :)
Fragmin
and asprin have done their trick and brought us to the end of this two year journey. She was doing fine but was induced at 40 weeks just to make sure. I want to say thank you to everyone on here who has provided support and advice, especially Mary and Hopingforababy.

Safe arrival of our daughter.
I was on 150mg of aspirin and 5000 units
fragmin
and was induced at 38+2. When they delivered my placenta I watched as they checked it over and there were no visible clots at all so the treatment worked great.

I have been struggling to stabilise my inr for months now. I feel so awful most of the time. I enquired
about trying
fragmin
injections but was told I couldn't use them as they can cause osteoporosis. I can't win. Its really getting me down can't take much more. Any advice would be welcome x

Conflicting GP advice
He has said to go back on onto the
fragmin
until my INR comes up. Went to see the local gp who refused to prescribe the
fragmin
.....but would be happy for me to take aspirin on the warfarin. Anyone any experience of this?

For those of you who have had experience with both Warfarin and

Coming off blood thinners before birth.
I am now 35 weeks pregnant and have been on 150mg aspirin and
fragmin
throughout pregnancy. Baby is growing well and so the plan is to come off my aspirin at 36+2 but keep on the
fragmin
except the day I have my cervical stitch out at 36+4 then induce at 38+2.

Mum was due her third taxol on the trial yesterday. She had a massive nosebleed and is missing it this week. Will it make a difference!
Her platelets were very low and she had a transfusion and has to inject
fragmin
for the next four days as her neutrophils were low too. They said theta they think she might have had too much chemo.

Breast biopsy continued
One horrid bit was having to have the
fragmin
injections leading up to the op, luckily my partner agreed to stab me because I couldn't face doing it myself!
