Three weeks into fodmap
Finding low
fodmap
options for lunch at work is pretty tricky. Just about managing by taking lunch in (Spelt Sourdough a huge help!) and a couple of Pret options aimed at the gluten-free market. Keeping track with progress on the Tummi
Fodmap
app also very helpful for me.

IBS-C and fibre
My diet is full of low
fodmap
fruit, vegetables and salads and my guts are in a knott. I'm so confused by how much fibre, which fibre blah blah blah. My diet is made up almost entirely of high (non-grain) fibre because I thought it would help me but it really isn't working... Thanks in advance. N

Dairy or not?
She said if it is IBS then she doesnt think food has any affect on her as before cutting out dairy she had already cut everything else out and she has tried a
Fodmap
diet but it did nothing for her.

Finally saw fodmap trained dietitian
Wanted to share my learnings from talking to her about
fodmap
and other options I might have. It seems the main thing taking the KCL
fodmap
approach is that you need to be really strict with your diet.

Severe incontinence
Medications, diets,
Fodmap
, I was even bulimic at one point because I was so scared that whatever I ate would hurt me so much.

So much I am always so gassy!
I’m back trying the low
fodmap
diet for the 3rd time, its helps a bit but my guts still churn and grumble and produce so much wind. I’m a 46 year old woman and have googled all possibilities but wonder if all this extra gassiness is due to my age (hormone havoc maybe?!)

Fructan Issue
It will explain why I cannot eat low
fodmap
foods such as gluten free oats. Is there anybody who is sensitive to fructans? I was wondering how you cope and what you eat. I do have an appointment to see my GP next week so I am seeking medical advice. Thank you for reading.

Going Mad trying to find a cause for bad nights and days!
I feel as if there's some dietary cause and am looking at glutamate and Lectin as well as
FODMAP
foods and sugar, and all the usual culprits. My diet is getting more and more restricted as I find more and more foods that I think are suspects.

Questions for anyone who suffered acid rebound effect after PPI use, and eventually was free from acid reflux?
For the past week it seems the reflux is a little better, so I have been able to get along with only 2 x Famotidine a day and an extremely restrictive diet (low
FODMAP
foods and avoiding any dairy, gluten, wheat, and fatty / acidic foods).

Newly diagnosed - help!
Can it cause digestion issues (I had to go on
FODMAP
recently as lots of problems). Is my medication enough? Do any supplements help? Should I do my best to reduce stress? I’ve been “powering through” flare ups. Possibly making it worse!
