Fodmap advice
Been following the
fodmap
diet for 10 weeks under supervision of dietician. Saw no improvement for 7 weeks, then had a brilliant week with practically no symptoms. Saw dietician last week, was suffering a flare up, and despite that she felt that it was helping due to my good week.

IBS - Seems to have gone away since cutting out carbs and sugars....
I was just looking at this webpage, and wanted to share it: High
FODMAP
foods list: https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/fodmaps-101#high-
fodmap
-foods But realized the best place to post it would be on the IBS forums, and then I thought momentarily about the fact that I have had zero IBS issues, since

First ever
I have given up gluten, followed
FODMAP
, and basically tried every weird diet published. I even took Cholesyramine once a night before bed. NOTHING WORKED! Until I read a random blog that claimed taking Cholestramine immediately after you eat solved his problem. I tried it.

Returning to gluten 😫
Is there any advice on how to manage symptoms - I am trying to stick to low
fodmap
. Also, is it worth considering genetic testing instead and if so, where in UK is best/trusted? Thanks

Should I see a immunologist and neurologist privately as my dr is refusing to send me to one.
completely clueless about the severity of my headache symptoms I have seen three different dieticians over the last 10 years the first one said I can eat whatever I wanted as she didn’t believe that it was food making me ill and she felt I didn’t have any allergies, the second one could only give me

Spelt Sourdough
I am trying to find a Spelt Sourdough that has not got any additives, like
FODMAP
sugars, and is made exclusively with Spelt flour. My Nutritionist has recommended Waitrose number 1 Spelt Sourdough but my local store does not seem to stock it.

Fodmap re-introduction whilst on imodium?
Do you think I can start the
fodmap
reintroduction phase even though I am taking imodium regularly? Thanks for your responses.

Reintroducing Foods with Past IBS Flares (gas and runny tummy)
So update The last two weeks I have made slow progress to come off my SIBO/Low
Fodmap
diet and eat stuff I use to enjoy. I tried like a quarter of teaspoon on peanut butter but I didn’t get a reaction...not sure I can handle a whole sandwich or shake with it.

I’ve tried
FODMAP
diet but it didn’t give me complete relief. My last 8 year bout saw me finish working due to symptoms, suffer with MH issues like extreme anxiety but also leave me more determined to find a better solution for myself. I’ve found that rich/dairy foods really upset me.

Colon Hydroterapy
Trying the
FODMAP
and taking some laxatives. I also drink a lot of water and herbals and walk everyday 20+20 mins to go to work. Two months ago I took a CT scan that was clear but I am still thinking about nasty causes. I can’t bare this situation anymore ðŸ˜
