Is there other alternative treatments out there for women that sufferer from endometriosis rather than the pill or the Mirena coil?
Hi there, I'm new to this page, but hopefully maybe someone could shade some light about contraception alternatives. I've had key hole surgery back in 2013, for endometriosis. I'm only stage 2, so not too bad. I also was told I had Adenomyosis as well, but I think it comes with the territory of having

Endo & trying for a baby need advice
Hi ladies, I had my copper coil out on the 23rd of Aug I was told I was able to start trying straight away from my doctor as I was 8 weeks clear after one zoladex injection even though I haven’t had a period return yet since my injection. She said there was no need to wait they only tell you to do so

Anyone having really bad mood swings, still feeling endo pains and weight gain from the merina coil?
Recently had my 3rd coil put in, and am experiencing different symptoms with this one. Had a copper coil when I was in my late teens, got bad pains and very heavy periods, saw GPs constantly and knew something wasn't right, finally got referred to Gyno, diagnosed endo and confirmed with laparoscopy,

Embarrassing post!
Hi guys I have a question, I had a lap in June to remove coil and ended up with an infection in the wound and inside. Since then I’ve had the most offensive discharge. I don’t know what to do because my doctor can’t give me an appointment (easier to get one with the Prime Minister). But I am worried

Sore nipples and iffy tummy
Hi ladies, Just looking for some answers. I’ve had the coil to help with my endometriosis. As of about a month ago I’m having some issues opening my bowels or opening them too much. I don’t seem to have much control. Prior to my lap and coil I used to have endo pain, not been so much of an issue at

Mirena coil side effects...
I’ve had a mirena fitted for 4 years and had it changed in March as I felt it wasn’t working as well anymore It’s working well however I have also recently started to get BV and just wondered if it was a side effect or the coil or if it could be something else causing it?

Hi everyone... I had major uterine fibroids during my pregnancies and vulvar varicosities. Fun pregnancies, right? A year after my last pregnancy I had an abdominal myomectomy, nearly 8 pounds of healthy/plump fibroids removed from inside and outside of my uterus. It to longer to heal from that then

Have you had poor care post op?
Hi Everyone, I was interested in everyone's experiences of post op care- in particular the follow up appt with the consultant. I'm due for my post op appt in october (4 months post surgery). However, there is little information anywhere (this includes endo UK) about what to expect post surgery. I feel

Coping methods for pain and mental health with endo?
Hi, first post here, I was diagnosed 6 months ago with "99% chance I have endo, but can't confirm until lap performed". I'm 26, and have suffered with bad periods since I was 14. After 11 years of going back and forth to doctors and being dismissed, after having issues with pill being discontinued and

Apologies in advance for how "all over the place" this post is! After a conversation with my doctor, I've just been left feeling unheard, brushed to the side and confused. I first went to this particular GP back in June to talk about my pill and the fact I was ALWAYS spotting for 6 months and i wanted

It’s so early on with everything I’ve been getting a lot of symptoms of ov cancer and went to my doctors to seek his opinion, he has put me forward for a CA125 blood test which I had yesterday and I’m also waiting on a date for a ultrascan in the post ! I know it’s early on and could be anything , but

Symptoms of confirmed endometriosis?!

Period clots with mirina coil
Hey girls, Hope you're all doing well. This is my second post in this forum. I've had the mirina coil inserted just over 3 years now and for the most part it's completely stopped my periods. I used to suffer with extremely heavy periods where I'd clot a lot and bleed through large period pads and
