Just looking for some answers. I’ve had the coil to help with my endometriosis. As of about a month ago I’m having some issues opening my bowels or opening them too much. I don’t seem to have much control.
Prior to my lap and coil I used to have endo pain, not been so much of an issue at present but for the last couple of days I’ve had a band of pain across my lower abdomen. It seems to worsen if I need a pee.
My nipples are also very very sore to touch, and I’m not sure what to do about it.
I have a coil check up on the 10th September, am not sure if this is related to my coil though. Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Tiff

Hey Tiff, I have suffered from the same as you since my lap. Tummy troubles (too much, or too little!), extreme breast/nipple pain & also a succession of water infections. Prior to my lap, I didn't experience any of these issues.
I have a follow-up appointment with my GP later this month & I'm going to discuss these issues with her to see if they're something that can be expected after surgery. Please note I do not have the coil fitted, nor am I on any contraception. I guess it could be to do with the muscles being poked and prodded during surgery? Or maybe where you had your endo removed from? (mine was from my bowel & pouch of Douglas). I hope this helps!
