Post Laparoscopy

Hi to all you lovely ladies, so I had my lap on Thursday to diagnose endo due to the symptoms that I have been suffering with. The only thing that was found was some scar tissue on the right side of my bowel everything else looks fine. They have still put a coil in though to help with the symptoms. I have no idea whether the scar tissue was endo related or just has happened but the gynae has said there is nothing more they can do and to go down the gastro route if I have any further issues. Feeling confused as my symptoms and pain are not in the stomach or bowel area. Has anybody else had a similar experience please?
