Fluoxetine and serotonin
My wife has been taking fluoxetine 60mg for severe anxiety after learning she has stomach cancer. She also takes lorazepam and propranolol. For the last three weeks she has woken frightened and unable to get up and function at all until about 4pm and even then she is scared. She shakes and has palpitations

Could I be okay working in a grocery store with reactive tinnitus? Can that desentisize me?
I been crying and feeling crippled these past 6 months. If my tinnitus wasnt reactive or sound sensitive to almost every noise and didnt spike from it then I'd be okay and carry on with life but I get this loud whistle through almost every sound and today I tried listening to my pop music and this loud

Problem with new Rx? Oui ou non?
Hi friends, foes, and allies in fetters, Another day in gehenna. (Take my advice and do not seek lest ye find.) I tried a new prescription this morning. The lorazepam (0.5 mg.) I was taking for EXTREME panic just wasn't making it anymore. Takes an hour to have an effect, barely does anything, and stops

Nuplazid & experimenting in the midst of a pandemic
So I was overjoyed when the neurologist suggested trying Nuplazid for my husbands hallucinations. Picked up the samples from the office building wearing mask & gloves. Although the doctor had said give it mornings, I called & asked if we could start that afternoon. He called back at 5 and said yes.

Dizziness and anxiety
Does anyone else’s anxiety make them feel dizzy, off balance or light headed every single day? I wake up with it and depending on the day, it comes back again later. Only thing that helps is lorazepam.

New job anxiety
Hi everyone! I’m new to this community. I dealt with anxiety for over 12 years and manage it pretty well...until today. I started a new job and have to work remotely due to the Coronavirus. I had a horrible anxiety attack before my first virtual meeting and had to take a lorazepam to calm down. I’m

Can't seem to stop constant underarm odor
Hello, My wife has had PD for around four years. This strong underarm odor always returns in 1-2 days after a good cleaning. The anti-perspirant deodorants make no difference at all, because she very seldom, if ever, perspires/sweats. I've started using my Brut deodorant on her but that was no help either

Just checking in
It’s been awhile since I posted. Diagnosed with PMR July 2018. I had been doing reasonably well. Have been back to 2-3 shifts in Home Care every 2 weeks for the past year. Was finding that my recovery time from working was getting longer and longer. This last time, I’ve realized I’m not getting better

Does anyone here takes Lorazepam or Diazepam? My Clonazepam lost its effect after using 4mg a day w 20mg of fluoxetine. Now it only makes effect controlling anxiety if I take 8mg in the morning . I screwed up trying to kill myself a thousand times taking Clonazepam sometimes a whole pack of pills, so

RLS and Glutamate?
For me, sleep deprivation leads to an increase in anxiety and a marked worsening of my OCD. This leads to my being overtired and anxious, which then makes it even more difficult to sleep when the restlessness finally dips down to a manageable level. For a long time, when this happened, I would take

Reflex anoxic seizures HELP!
Hi I was wondering if anyone could offer me some advice? I'm currently in hospital having some form of seizures that after a lot of research seem to sound a lot like RAS. I have had them for years but months apart in clusters. I was diagnosed at 13 as having right temporal lobe epilepsy by an EEG. I'm

Anxiety Attack while Sleeping
Hey Gang: Do any of you have anxiety or panic attacks when you sleep, possibly from dreaming? Have you been able to reduce the attacks or recover completely? If so, how did you do it? A little about me: I have been stressed for the past 18 years, anxiety attacks then began and have had this for the

BMB was fine. Thank you all for your good wishes
Thank you all for wishing me well with the BMB yesterday. The procedure went OK, helped by 1 gm lorazepam and all the entenox( gas and air - nitrous oxide) I could inhale. And a very friendly Portugese nurse. I was told that they got a good core. Apart from being a bit sore today ( so I’ve been

HEART in the THROAT sensation is bothersome, I find taking Lorazepam 1mg 3X a day calms me down and makes it much less noticeable.
Now 2 months after being diagnosed with AFIB (most of the time per my BP monitor) and I'm trying to deal with it. I guess the throat sensations are Ectopic Beats/PVC. As a caregiver to my adult son who has a brain injury, OCD and Epilepsy, I have anxiety for his future when I'm gone. This doesn't help
