Problem is your prescription will run out. You really need to take it how they prescriber writes it. Talk to your subscriber about it.

Don’t listen to the people telling you not to take a benzodiazepine. Listen to your Dr , benzodiazepine are great medications. The ones playing Dr on this site should not reply if there going to tell you not to listen to your Dr.

there fear mongering and should be ashamed of them self’s.

Your meds have helped you because there the proper medication indicated for anxiety/panic attacks.

Nothing else is made that works on your Gaba Receptors. SSRI don’t work on the Gaba but serotonin. That’s why so many people go from ssri to ssri they just don’t work for anxiety it does work for depression. So listen to your Dr because Benzodiazepine are a Great medication. You’ll have people that have drank the cool laid and are trying to convince people benzodiazepine are bad. Don’t pay attention to them.

Lorazepam like al benzodiazepines are very addictive. If I was you I would stop taking them. I had a terrible experience with it

Lorazepam 0.5 helped me get out of an anxiety state this last summer, one 0.5 mil every morning for 4 months got me through it, then I tapered the 0.5 for a week. Down to 1/2 the dose for 1 week. I Got off without any problems. People only get addicted if they are abusing them ..taking more then prescribed, then one will get addicted. They are not candy. If it weren't for Lorazapam I would still be in an anxiety state today. I am cool calm and doing good. My Dr. told me once I started taking them "I would never get off them"! That's total bull and I proved him wrong! Years ago I needed them for a few months and had no problem tapering off. Tapering off is the key plus one 0.5

Mil. To take the edge off won't

hurt anyone.

Thank you Maxyz3 for your caring and informative response on getting help

with benzos. If used responsibly and under doctor's care others will not be

so hesitant to get relief. :) xx

Yes, Benzos are a great aid in reducing anxiety and if used right and under a Dr.s care they are safe.
