Letter came with another 4 envelopes from works and pensions. I have been unsuccessful in my claim as had been awarded zero, nil, zilch points. My contributions based benefit has been cancelled as at 20th March and if I want I can apply for jobseekers allowance. Unfortunately (for me), contributions

Day 1 of New Start
I went to sleep about 1am and woke up again at 4am, didn't get back to sleep. So I guess the duloxetine isn't gonna help me sleep. Side effect: Nausea, continuing and I'm struggling to eat my breakfast. But I am awake and ready to go to uni, so not all is bad. Hopefully the sick feeling will pass.

Medications for Fatigue?
Does anybody take anything specifically for fatigue? As the rheumatologist has decided I should have tramacet daily, duloxetine in the evening, and tramadol if needed instead of tramacet. I know the duloxetine may help..

Duloxetine - Day 7
I feel fine now after a rough 5 days of being fluffy and feeling dizzy when I stand up I feel ok so roll on now getting the benefits on it. Managed 15 minutes of light exercise and 10 minutes of swimming before crashing and burning which is good. Back home for an afternoon snooze.

Just a little info I have on my facebook related to Fibro
Your doctor may prescribe amitriptyline or
fluoxetine
(Prozac) to help promote sleep. ¦Anti-seizure drugs. Medications designed to treat epilepsy are often useful in reducing certain types of pain.

Medication
Just wanted people's advice on what else to try. I am currently on tramadol and paracetamol - Find it just takes the edge off the pain. Just started duloxetine, just feeling sick with it atm. Tried amitriptiline and nortriptiline in the past, neither worked. Also on lopermide and meberviline for IBS

Time for a New Start
I went to the doctors today with my letter from the Rheumatologist. I was quite nervous as it was a new gp and I generally have struggled to find a decent gp and I was planning on changing surgeries. However, the doctor I saw today seemed to be knowledgeable, helpful and fairly friendly. Not amazing

I'm so sick of being sick
I'm absolutely sick to death of pain. I'm fed up knowing that I'm going to be in pain. I'm sick of taking tablets and suffering their side effects because of pain but most of all I'm sick of knowing that this is all I've got to look forward to for the rest of my life. I've been to pain clinics etc and

has anyone experienced any side effects from Duloxetine ? I have been taking it for a few weeks now and I find it makes me very shaky in the mornings ( I have to take it at bedtime ) . I've also found I'm very restless about an hour after taking it and feel like my skin is crawling. It's a very weird

Well last night was interesting. I only slept about 4 hours tuesday night so when I got home from uni yesterday I went back to bed, this was about 6 o clock, then I woke about about 11 when my boyfriend got home, I hadn't eaten anything so he got me some toast and I took my tablets, and then I threw

Wonder what would happen without free prescriptions...
Other medications, including
fluoxetine
, hydrochlorothiazide, lorazepam and micardis, also were not tampered with. At this time, police do not have any suspects. But maybe he or she had thyroid problems.

Oesophagus, pills and water......
Some time last week I had had trouble swallowing my
fluoxetine
and felt it got stuck. I rang the out of hours doctor and he told me to take some rennies or gaviscon and keep eating and drinking, because it sounded like the tablet got stuck and then dissolved in my gullet.

Hi just a quickie
Unfortunately I have only just got my
Fluoxetine
(anti-pressant which i usually take in the morning) from the doctors this afternoon, took it with some water and it feels like it is stuck in my gullet. It is burning like hell and not amount of water or warm tea is shifting it.

Prescribing changes for generalist care: Pregabalin, what do you think ?
PPSN is a registered stakeholder for this guidance which means we can respond to NICE including your views before Monday 10th October. The proposed change means that it will be more difficult for patients to be prescribed Pregabalin by a GP. The reason given for the proposed change is cost. NICE

She's also testing for a range of other things just in-case my symptoms are from something else... although she did suggest that I talk to my doctor about antidepressant (
fluoxetine
) - which I must admit that I'm NOT very keen on going down that path...

Right then... moving forward
Beams at me asks me how I am, how I am doing on the old
Fluoxetine
and Mtx, asks if I have sorted my family out and put them right, Asks how I am sleeping, how my hands are and my knee and back and all sorts of other things. Doctor sits there like a gooseberry, looking at his watch. Right.
