New meds for me
Hi Crissy, i have been on fluoxetine and co-codamol but they didnt work for me, however they might work for you, at the moment i am now taking 100mg of Tramadol and 100mg of Pregabalin 3 times per day, these meds seem to be working but we are still working on getting the dosage correct for me, it will take time to find the right combination of meds to help you, just keep thinking posotive and try not to let it get you down when certain meds dont work.
I wish you all f the best and hope you find the correct meds soon.
CHORLEY
They are antidepressants apart from the co-codamol! I refuse to fill my body with drugs and use products from my own health range
I know they are antidepressants, iv had this illness fir 10 years iv tried the natural methos and diet, up to now nothing has worked, if i could manage without meds i would
Hi My medicines are Co- Codamol, Tramadole, Dicloflex and Oxazepam. I remember the time when I never had any tablets in the house but over the last 15 years I have ended up having to take more. I have tried natural remedies but no use at all. At least some days the ones I have to take take the edge of things. I hate having to take them but no other choice. Fibromyalgia hits people in different ways.
im on ......120mg duloxetine and co-codamol . i started on lowest dose 30mg and within days felt like id got my life back .. it was short lived each time i incresed the dose until i reached the top and it keeps me going altho they are mind numbing at such a high dose . if im runnig late i just cant get any sense of urgency to get a move on ..ive been diagnosed just over a year now after 9 months of scans and blood tests . that was a very frightening time .. im also new to this site .
Glad to hear from you all im new as well, im finding it all very helpfull thank you x
Hi all just thought i'd share some information about FMS diagnosis and treatment as I have found this power point slides by Dr Boomershine which I found very helpful : scientiacme.org/pdfs/Boomer...
Also I recommend asking your GP if you feel you need more support or specialist advice / treatment as I found a referral to FMS Clinic , Guys Hospital London really helped with medication and support.
