Autoimmune issue?
I have been feeling dreadful for a couple of months, quite
flu
like and inflamed all over and my bowel is acting up with bouts of constipation, tenderness and burning in the abdomen and lower back. I am seeing a new Dr tomorrow to work out next steps as my regular gp has no idea.

Has anyone had any muscle pains after having a bath?
I started to panic a bit and lifted all my limbs to check I wasn't having a stroke and I just felt
flu
like. I got up and popped a 5mg pred (on top of my morning 12.5mg 5 hours earlier) and then I returned to bed where I did nod off. By 10pm I was in a restaurant drinking beer feeling good.

How often would you say you have ‘good’ days?
During the week I felt absolutely terrible, I’m sure we can all relate to the bizarre
flu
like symptoms or just ‘not feeling well’ even though I know there was actually nothing wrong with me, the exhaustion (needing to nap on my days off and on work days coming home and falling asleep on the sofa) and

5 weeks on recovering from Covid-19
I received a text message 2 days later to say I was positive and I kind of knew by then because I felt like I had really bad
flu
. I couldn’t walk, eat anything and by day 2 I had no taste or smell at all.

I’m so fed up!
I’m struggling to stay awake, I’ve put on sooooooo much weight, if I do anything apart from lie in bed, I feel like I’ve been hit by a truck / coming down with
flu
or something.

Newly diagnosed - my story
Hi, I'm now 48 and recently diagnosed with COPD I'd been unwell in December 2019 with
flu
like symptoms, once a little better I had a continuous cough but left it until March 2020 when I thought I best speak with a Doctor.

Third Covid vaccine for millions from September
It will coincide with the annual influenza inoculation programme, which health officials say will be vital this winter amid warnings of a difficult
flu
season.

Feeling helpless without a firm diagnosis
Over the last week or so just after recovering from my cold/
flu
bug (had a negative COVID test also), I've had daily painful headaches which last all day, aching in my face (jaw, cheekbones), pains in my armpits, I literally feel so unbelievably drained like someone has squeezed every single ounce of

Adrenal problems or what
Hi everyone, I have been ( I thought ) successfully reducing my pred, down to 4mg, however for the last few days I have been feeling exhausted, very tired, almost
flu
type feeling, aching arms no energy whatsoever, I don’t understand as I’ve been on this dose for 4-5 weeks.

Thyroid or Vaccinations?
or the recent
flu
and Covid vaccination. I say recent been that I had my
flu
jab in January and first Covid in March. I am wondering if the vaccines have set a flare off of something or is stiffness and pain part of underactive thyroid? Any ideas, Thank you.

Empathy and understanding
If you had
flu
you'd stay at home till you felt better and temperature had passed, if you had d&v you stay at home till 48 hours post last episode and I certainly wouldn't be entering anyones houses who had the above so it's no different for covid.

Intranasal influenza vaccine enhances immune response and offers broad protection, researchers find.
Recurring seasonal
flu
epidemics and potential pandemics are among the most severe threats to public health. Current seasonal influenza vaccines induce strain-specific immunity and are less effective against mismatched strains. Broadly protective influenza vaccines are urgently needed.

Autoimmune system and nerve pain
My legs can often feel like heavy dead weights & experience
flu
like symptoms but without a cold but often break out into clammy sweats. My throat & chest muscles also feel affected and have days where I feel pressure at the front which just doesn’t feel right.

Covid jab and strange side effect.
Had my first jab (AZ) two weeks ago, didn't suffer any of the normal side effects of
flu
like symptoms but had tingling hands and tongue about 30 mins after having had it.
