Is it possible to have a flare up of PMR without a change in predisolone dosage?
For the last 4-5 days I have been feeling cold, tired & aching all over & feel like I've got the
flu
. Similar symptoms to when PMR was diagnosed. Could this be a flare up? The only other thing I can think of is I had my second shingles vaccination on Wednesday 14th September.

New Omicron vaccines proven safe and effective
“An annual
flu
vaccine is updated based on the circulating strains of the
flu
, and unfortunately, we [the medical community] can’t wait on human data because it might not arrive until November or December, well after many of us have been infected.”

Having COVID has been a reprieve and I'm worried about my ability to continue fighting COVID and the seasonal
flu
when the inhibitor disables my immune system. I'd gotten my 2nd COVID booster a month before catching COVID , but it didn't do any good.

Re Scottish autumn 2022 vaccine appointments
My vaccine is booked for late October and I plan to get both Covid and
flu
at the same time this year. Because I know I’m now generating good Covid antibodies, and if I’m going to flare I might as well get them both over at once!

Tapering side effects?
Halfway through and i am still feeling intermittently nauseous and have
flu
-like aches in arms, shoulders and legs. Plus feel incredibly tired most of the time. Is this due to taper? If so,do i need to go back to 2 mg or will the symptoms subside eventually? Many thanks

Nice post about cleaner indoor air standards
The New York Times recently claimed that “the risk of Covid is similar to that of the
flu
” in an article about “hold outs” that are annoyingly refusing to accept continual reinfection as their “new normal”.

Zytiga withdrawal symptoms
So I did so but now I have
flu
like symptoms. No fever but headache, shakiness, and fatigue. General feeling of unease. Anyone else have this experience? If so, how long do these symptoms last?

Bright yellow urine, Flank pain, Flakes in urine
This started with nightly
flu
-like muscle aches and frequent night sweats. Next, feelings of light-headedness, mild nosebleeds, and heart palpitations (sudden slightly fast and very strong heartbeats) out of nowhere.

Ectopic Beats or Something More?
I since have discovered that in
very rare
instances, a few people may experience myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle).... a
rare
complication involving for the most part, shortness of breath during activity (and whilst resting too) heart arrhythmias,
flu
like symptoms, weakness

Flu like symptoms
So… on Besremi - can have
flu
like symptoms. Does this mean you just feel like you are sick or are you actually sick and how can you tell the difference? It lowers our immune system, right? Are we contagious when we feel bad? I don’t see how you could ever know for sure.

After two years on opiods, they made me physically ill; bed ridden 3 years with
flu
-like systems, nausea, bowels issues, and the worst, vertigo. At the time had the perfect family: like the Brady Bunch.

Also the side effects I have been told with the infusion is

Covid Shot, benefit of side effects
I got my wish, fever at 100F, light
flu
like, etc for the next day. Different from the usual MPN malaise. Better that than getting infected (we had Covid early 2020, a super bad near death experience.) Also lots of injection site pain, same as the Shingles shot.
