Help with meds for flu
Just caught the proverbial
flu
, unfortunately not able to find a suitable medication to help with symptoms due to side effects unsuitable for the medication I'm presently taking IE Valsarten for bp, beta blockers for AF and coagulants (apixaban).

Any experience with stomach flu?
Has anyone here experienced the stomach
flu
post transplant? Did it take longer than normal to recover? I have had it for 5 days now. For the first two I had fever with it.

Colds and flu…🧐🥹?
Many, many patients comment on this observation – that during cold and
flu
epidemics they seem to be the only family member not affected…?”
Professor Graham Hughes, [the London Lupus Centre] 2008
Just wondering about this observation but I personally have not had a cold or
flu
for ages.

Sort of flu
I think I’ve got something
flu
like. I feel achy and horrible, coughing and exhausted. I have been very slowly reducing steroids and am down to 0.5 mg. I’ve been getting shooting pains in one knee and have painful fingers, I’ve never had these particular symptoms before!

Flu Jab and Heart Failure
Hi All, New on here, just wondering whether anyone has had the
flu
jab after being diagnosed with Heart Failure? I have an Ejection Fraction between 30%-35%. I had 1 stent in the LAD in July. Had angina as well. Is it advisable to have the
flu
jab?

Skin Rash
Can receiving Covid-19 and
Flu
vaccines at the same time be a cause of skin rash for CLL patient? (I remember reading something in that effect last fall). I would appreciate your input. thanks

Timing of flu vaccine when on weekly Tocilizumab
It's also time to have my
flu
jab. In the past when on two-weekly and three-weekly injections it was easy to fit the
flu
vaccine in not too close to the injections. Now, the best I could do would be a 3 or 4 day gap. I'm not sure what is best or whether I should have the
flu
jab at all?

60 years of VM symptoms
At the age of 13 I was told I had the
flu
and never saw a doctor but 5 days of being semi-comatose is not the
flu
. It’s been 60 years of searching for answers. I finally saw an immunology doctor (not an allergy only doctor). With treatment for low IgG’s I no longer have vertigo.

More to deal with. Early birthday gift I guess.
Besides, Lupron had current
flu
, covid and RVS. Thought I must have caught
flu
and but feeling different about it. Worst sore throat every and continually spit phlegm and spittle. Went to our local ER and came up with the winner, COVID!
