Call your transplant center. There should always be someone on call that you can run your questions past. Ask for a list of safe meds if this, that or the other thing crops up. Standard in the US is Tylenol (acetaminophen) for headaches and fever. Every center is different, however, so check with your doctor to see what you can take for runny/stuffy nose, cough, etc. The concern is drug interactions. I'm nearly five years post transplant and I STILL take nothing without my team's approval. Best wishes & feel better soon!

My advice is stay calm and try to keep yourself away from everyone. I live with my 3 adult kids and we all share the same bathroom. What we fo is keep generic lysol and wipes in the bathroom everyone washes hands and wipes down everything and sprays bathroom after every use. We all wear masks when sick like that and wipe things down or spray them especially anything we touch often. The firat one we'll then becomes the care taker to all. Make sure your eating and drinking!!!!! Also, if you start throwing up it's to the hospital! If you can't keep meds down that is hospital bond! The biggest thing is to stay calm! I have had everyone have covid but me and different colds too. I really feel because we wipe things down and take precautions I have been okay. Good luck and keep us updated! I have had covid myself and never ended up in the hospital and a cold too.

Please take home covid test. Does your insurance allow a “TeleDoc” visit? You could try the 24 hour nurse line, most insurances have that.
