Post 585 Take your time 8 Jan 2020
That does seem to be an obvious statement, but I will say it again. Take your time. "YOU" have just been diagnosed (Dx'd) with Relapsing-Remitting ms (RRms), "YOU" have tears to shed brick walls to kick and the sky to yell at. Give it everything that "YOU" can muster. Side effects, what are "YOU" willing to put up with? Seriously, what? I put up with headaches, painful injections and a basic feeling of crap for years on interferon Beta 1B(Betaseron). Even worse for my month on Rebif Interferon Beta 1A. None on Tecfidera, and it is a tablet so no needles.

Neuro appointment today
Saw my neuro today. He said I’m doing fantastic and called me boring 😂 I really am blessed to be doing so well. Ampyra has been my miracle drug and Rebif continues to work well. I am going to try a sleeping pill. Bad sleep and increased fatigue were my only complaints today. On a side note...my tomatoes

Stopping flomax cold turkey ?
Just finished my last EBRT treatment had no side effects whatsoever during treatment my RO told me just stop flomax now. I just read that you should taper off flomax. Thoughts? Is it safe to stop cold turkey without tapering off?

Unexpected leakage
I thought I was doing well. PSA has been undetectable for over a year. Now, 11 months after I finished 42 sessions of IMRT, I am starting to get more frequent urinary urgency and some leakage if I don’t address the urge promptly. I assume this is secondary to my radiation, but why is there almost a

Waking up numerous times - magic no pee pill?
My husband is obviously exhausted from waking numerous times during the night, does anyone know if the ProstaGenix product Larry King promotes is legit? Have any of you tried it? Dr. Dudley Danoff is behind the product. Flomax is not an option as it gave him debilitating side effects and didn't help.

Hyperthermia & Cancer & Inflammation
I sleep on a 32"X20" FIR heating pad.(40C) I found it took care of my joint pain. Scan showed I had arthritis everywhere. Not sure what it did for cancer. But since I had metastasis to the groin lymph nodes, I decided to add in a 20"x20" (50C) pad which I lay on top of my groin when I get up to

I'm a fighter.. I'm a Conqueror.. I'm a winner...
Hello my name is Cynthia. I have MS and it has taken a toll on my body. I'm in constant pain and very weak. It does not seem to be getting any better. I'm currently taking Rebif but I don't see a difference. I am having very bad muscle spasms in my legs when I sit up. I open for any suggestions..

Guiding care for 76 yo husband with aggressive pca
I know most men eventually get pca. It lingers or it doesn’t. We got attacked. Psa was 3 for years. Didn’t have it checked often. Last year in the 7s. Urology said normal for 76yo. Prostate not enlarged when palpated. Went to urology for slow stream. Had that for 20 years. Started flomax

Diagnosed early March 2019, but pretty far along. 103 g prostrate - adenocarcinoma in 10 of 15 samples, all with Gleason 4+4 = 8, most samples show cancer at 60% - 100%. Metastasized to the retroperitoneal lymph nodes proven by biopsy. Strangely, the pelvic nodes seem normal. Last PSA 8.4, but none measured

IMRT and Slow Urination
Only 3 IMRT treatments and I seem to be experiencing slower urination. Two questions. 1) anyone experience this after prostate radiation? 2) I’m currently on .4 mg Flomax daily. Are others here taking more?
