Unexpected leakage

I thought I was doing well. PSA has been undetectable for over a year.

Now, 11 months after I finished 42 sessions of IMRT, I am starting to get more frequent urinary urgency and some leakage if I don’t address the urge promptly. I assume this is secondary to my radiation, but why is there almost a year delay in onset? I have been on Flomax for a year. I had weak stream and frequent urination even before my dx in late 2017. I still have my prostate.

Any suggestions for treatment?

Were you taking ADT with your radiation? That shrinks the prostate. At any rate, it's called a "late term" side effect- usually hits those who've had problems before. I found Rapaflo helped better than 2 Flomax.

Canoehead ,I too still have my prostate four years out .I did imrt and adt only . I’ve been clear over 31/2 yrs .. hope that you can find resolution to your issues ..brother . Dealing with APC is a saga .. good luck . Scott🌵
