I sleep on a 32"X20" FIR heating pad.(40C) I found it took care of my joint pain. Scan showed I had arthritis everywhere. Not sure what it did for cancer.
But since I had metastasis to the groin lymph nodes, I decided to add in a 20"x20" (50C) pad which I lay on top of my groin when I get up to pee around 3:30. I am not sure what it did for cancer, but I noticed it reduced the inflammation in the prostate. I haven't taken a Flomax since 5/8/18. So it is like a heat sandwich over the groin area. If I turn on my side, I re position the pad to stay over that area.
When I add in that extra pad I take supplements that claim anti cancer properties. Will report later if any benefit on the swelling in the feet.

Arthritis is a chronic inflammatory condition. I believe that PCa survival is profoundly influenced by inflammation. I think it is something that you should monitor - & treat.
See:
Inflammation. [1] Neutrophil-to-Lymphocyte Ratio [NLR]
Using extreme heat is something I used to do with a heating pad. It did help with inflammation and better flow. Ihad forgotten about that. Thank for bringing up that experience.
Ok...from the tinfoil pointy hat backpages of serious cancer treatments...before I learned that my PC was ‘under control’ I seriously considered rigging a ‘hotwire’ figure 8 seat harness wind for my pelvis like an electrical armature to create a electromagnetic field to cook out the l’il bastardz....this was all contrived from research I had been doing into Glioma brain cancer treatments....
As I say I contained my exuberance with the exceptional treatment results I lucked into...
You mean my lucky SOC outcome?...2 months bical followed by eligard and then zytiga on a compassionate dispensation. I also self administered the dukoral vaccine before I got my first post eligard results...don't regret that...and flavour my coffee with turmeric cardamom cinnamon and honey every morning.
As far as cancer- I won't know until they do some scans. But what was successful was this- I sleep on FIR pad at 70C. Hoping that the heat would have some affect on the groin lymph nodes. After about a yr. it didn't seem to have that affect on the groin area. So I placed another small FIR pad, 85C over the groin area and found this- I haven't taken a Flommax pill since the first week in May. No other prostate drug. Apparently the initial radiation took care of the prostate cancer, and the additional heat opened up the prostate. Good peeing now. So apparently the anti inflammatory benefit of the FIR pads took care of the inflammation in the prostate, such that I can now pee w/o any prostate drugs.
Keep this in mind- it is not the heat that helps you. It is the crystals. But the hotter the heat, the more FIR you get. Also, the FIR penetrates several inches. So you can crank up the heat with several layers in between and get that benefit. I didn't get the FIR benefit for the prostate while sleeping on it at 40C, while I did with the small one at 45-50C on the groin. I see I made a mistake in the above post, it wasn't at 70C, it is supposed to be at 40C. The groin pad is at 45C. Thanks for pointing that out.
I sleep all nite at 40C with a medium pad and put the groin pad on the last 2-3hrs I sleep.
Lately I have not been using any pad heat, but rather let the body heat the lower pad to 90sF from the body heat due to the warmer weather. I try to get the bedroom temp down to 72-74F at nite.
