Altitude and asthma
Has anyone monitored their peak flow whilst at altitude ? I am wondering what effect altitude has on peak flow.

Peak flow and COVID
Has anyone experienced a drop in peak flow with COVID? My peak flows have been within 8% of my personal best of 660 (predicted 640) for 3 weeks without asthma medication. Last Thursday, I noticed my peak flow had reduced to 570 which is a 15% drop and I had cold symptoms. By Monday, I tested positve

Hyperinflation/asthma
A recent X-Ray reveals that my lungs are hyperinflated which may be a factor in extreme breathlessness and low peak flow (40) diagnosed as chronic asthma. Does anyone have experience of hyperinflation and its treatment?

Desatting during attacks
So I got quite ill. Went down to 87% in the ambulance, struggled to get my sats up even with oxygen driven neb. Got discharged anyway. Is this normal? Been in and out of A&E multiple times this week alone. Admitted twice since the start of the year, etc. I'm really struggling even now. My sats still

Chronic allergic asthma restricting breathing at all times.
Hello everyone, any exercise or activity such as a shower severely impairs my breathing. This has worsened considerably over the past yearI manage this at home by resting between activities and TaiChi breathing. Outside I can walk slowly when accompanied but tend to feel panicky when alone. In a shop

Asthma or not?
Hi. I haven’t used a reliever or preventer asthma pump since august as I’ve been fine symptom free.. I went to the gym the other day and started feeling short of Breath easily and have done for a few days now.. I still haven’t used any inhaler as I’m not sure i have asthma due to my peak flow being 800

Sorry me again peak flow on 43inch child
I'm new to this and told to write down morning and nights best of 3... we couldn't get the peak flow meter for 2 days and the difference the inhalers made in that time symptom wise in terms of cough and mucus is amazing almost like a switch slight cough on exercise and if stressed or its cold outside

Does drinking wine affect your COPD? As yet I have no diagnosis due to Covid- although from what I read and my peak flow results I’m pretty sure I have unfortunately- I find I cough up more mucus during the night and I am more wheezy too . I have already given up red wine but I am finding that even
