hello lovely people; so i’ve been out of hospital for 54 days (ICU free for 76 days after 6 weeks in a coma due to a suicide attempt), and i read that memory loss of the event that caused your ICU stay is normal...however, i’ve noticed that lots of my previous memories are now gone. i can’t remember

Pain in arm
Hello Everyone I am now down to 2&1/2 mg of prednisone. Been on this for a week. As I have never been pain free I just put up with it as my CRP and ESR are excellent. The only thing is a high red blood cell count, For three days I have had a painful arm in the muscular area. Today it dawned on me I used

3.5yr old son constantly wetting and doesn’t care.
Hi all, My son decided to potty train himself just before he was 2 years old, so we went with it. He was doing really well and had minimal accidents. He started preschool when he turned 2 (I’m a manager at the preschool) and the first half term he was pretty much dry with only the odd accident. He then

Panicking! New to all of this
Hi guys, Hope you are all well at the moment. This is my first post so apologies if I am rambling. I am 25 years old currently working as a nurse. I am just in the process of ? being diagnosed with IBS. For as long as I can remember, I have always had a 'temperamental' stomach; if something stressful

Smug Post Alert!!!
So when I decided to take on C25K back in March I hadn’t run for 15years! Except for chasing the kids around the garden etc which generally left me feeling like I might need emergency medical attention. I had doubts but also determination. I had good days and bad. But when I really got into my stride

Wk 4 run 3 ✅
Found it tough today, calves screaming a bit, until the final run strangely so found a reserve of energy and picked up the pace for the last couple of minutes. Then looked at my Adidas app and we’d actually improved our pace on every run! I’m not worried about speed at this point but it was reassuring

Movicol use
Hello, I recently. Posted about starting toilet training but I think we still have an issue with impacted poo. My son started on movicol last May after becoming very constipated and doctor feeling tummy. We never got clear direction on how to use movicol from GP apart from its trial an error. We thought

Steroids and Intralipid Transfusion during COVID
Hi everyone, We were due to restart our 5th fresh cycle of ICSI last week but had it cancelled for a second time due to the COVID lockdown. We got the call from our clinic to say that we couldn’t go ahead with the planned steroid or intralipid treatment for NK cells so they suggested we delay our treatment

I have almost constant bloating whether I eat, drink water or do nothing. I am now regular now with Miralax and tried Phazyme for bloating( USA) and next to no real help. I am on Zoloft as well as Amitrip 10 Mg. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Shielding and my mental health
Nicola Sturgeon is doing a great job. She appears every day, she leads the people, she has genuine empathy. I really want to follow the shielding guidelines, but I can't any longer. I live alone. My life, since retirement, has always been filled with meetings and activities with friends and family,

The cause of Fibromyalgia
I lost both my parents in December 1996 within a few days of each other and a few weeks later my friend and business partner was diagnosed with cancer this was terminal and had to finish work, he died a few month later. This left me with a debt of £175,000 as I was the guarantor. In June 1997 the landlord
