Rheumy Update

He wants me to try another short course of 20mg Prednisolone, there should be at least a 50% improvement with pain, if it doesn't happen then it is definitely Fibromyalgia or both. I dont need to worry about ESR results. If the steroids works then its a 2yr course alongside water therapy and CBT for the other. The scan on my hip/groin area only shows wear and tear. I won't need to see him again unless the GP says it's PMR but more blood tests need to be done.

I'm so very tired and weary.

Okay...

Good luck with that...but don’t get too fixated on the “2 year” comment - if it’s PMR it takes as long as it takes.

I dont rate this bloke he comes across as if its too much trouble!

There are a few like that, but if you have a better relationship with your GP, they are quite capable of dealing with PMR.
