ERFA Vs. Thyroid - S
Hello all. I would like to return on ndt or ndt + levo, I still don't know, I'll see. My body doesn't like synthetics, I've tried in every way. Last time I couldn't find ndt and I jumped back on levo and t3. I'd like to find a ndt like nature-throid was. In the meantime, I've been getting some Thyroid-S

Traumatized because of my boyfriend
He and I are young, only 19. He only recently got his license in April. He is very anxiety filled even more so than me and he has always been terrified of driving. He didn't want to practice and was always making excuses putting everything off because he was too afraid. I put my foot down and gave him

transplant evaluation and right heart catheter
hello, partner due at the royal free next week and as part of evaluation has been booked for a right heart catheter. Has anyone had one, is it awful? How quickly did you recover. He was expecting to have to have one so its not a terrible shock

Dipyridamole update ** Dr. Sergi Ferré responded
I have been using Dipyridamole alone for my RLS for about 4 months. Initially the response was amazing, I was able to lay still for the first time in years. I quickly stopped the pregabalin I had been taking for years. This was working, I quickly went up to 300mg Dipyridamole. I started getting

Heavy bleeding and agonising joint pain on desogestrel???
I recently posted on here asking about experiences with desogestrel. Just days after starting it I began bleeding heavily with cramps worse than usual keeping me up all night and I've been waking up with agonising pain in my right knee/hip joint that spreads throughout my leg. Has anyone else had this

Nature-throid
Hi. Just had a telephone consultation and the pharmacist said that my liver levels were a bit off. She is going to do more blood tests as I am having awful abdominal pain/bloating etc . She also said that my nature-throid can cause this. Has anyone else been told this?

Right Sided Pacemaker
I had a pacemaker inserted last year for sick sinus syndrome. Unfortunately it got infected and had to be removed. I found the whole thing very traumatic. Unfortunately had a four hour episode of low heart rate the other evening so might have to reconsider having another fitted which of course would

Memory book
Has anyone made a memory book to help with a loved one's brain injury? If so do you think it helped? What did it consist of? I've collected a load of photographs but wondered if anything else would be helpful. Hubby still in hospital after a traumatic injury 6 months ago. He is very interactive but

The PSP-CBD Ice Cream Challenge Day 29
Day 29 - Picking Strawberries Maple Crunch ice cream covered with strawberry tops and pieces. I made the picker from three different sized strawberries. The 'blue' jeans get their colour from a mixture of flour and blue food colouring, belt from Smucker's chocolate magic shell (hair also), shoes - chocolate

Besremi and Phlebotomy
Hello, I had my first PB last week since starting Besremi (January 2022). Besremi is doing great job on my WBC and PLT, but the HCT has climbed above my goal of 42. I waited two extra weeks hoping a higher dose at 110 might knock it down a bit, but no luck. At Hunter's suggestion, HEM approved 250

Back once again with the renegade runner....
Here I am again learning to run for probably the 6th or 7th time. I was out due to injury - a broken hand which meant they advised me not to run for 12 weeks, followed by covid hitting the week I should have been back. Back to the drawing board for me! I've enough residual fitness to start again from

Anyone Taking Linaclotide?
I have been following this forum for awhile but this is my first post. I started Linaclotide a few months ago (first at 145, then a week ago was upped to 290 as I have a very stubborn case of IBS-C). It does seem to be giving me some relief in terms of the gas, pain, and severe bloating I have, but it's

Update on “20 years old and Scared”
Hey guys, roughly 11 months ago I posted in this group worried to death about my unspecified polycythemia diagnosis. You guys provided me with so much support during that time, even though I was a bit shy to respond to comments after a couple of days. Well, I was tested for the JAK2 gene which came back

Tips on reducing regular bouts of diarrhea.
Still waiting for a diagnosis. 8 days diarrhea, stopped 5 days later 4 days diarrhea. GP told me to wait until I see a consultant, which could be months away. Any tips to reduce this happening on such a regular basis. Living on dry toast and Imodium at the moment.
