hello, partner due at the royal free next week and as part of evaluation has been booked for a right heart catheter. Has anyone had one, is it awful? How quickly did you recover. He was expecting to have to have one so its not a terrible shock

Hi my partner has had a few of these, he says not painful, just have to lie still while it’s done. He has had them via neck and arm, recovery is quick he has never had any problems with them.
