Prof Tim (who features on Big Fat Negative podcast) has done a great Instagram Q&A tonight which he recorded. Worth a watch, as he gives some great unbiased advice on all things infertility - https://www.instagram.com/reel/C2dK1HrsJzL/?igsh=MWpucmN2ZGkxdjVm

Lost and Anxious - Low AMH, Mild adenomyosis, borderline male infertility
I would be so grateful to hear from anyone with similar
fertility
issues and any tips on what to ask, what to be mindful of when choosing a clinic, or if there is an approach you would recommend in terms of the medication, back to back cycles - anything really!

Hello, first post, looking for company in all this
None of my friends had
fertility
struggles that I know of, and I'm feeling lonely some days and like I don't even know how to describe this kind of grief. Tell me I'm not alone in this? Thanks x

Should 41 year old Transfer 2 embryos or 1 on my first FET. Embryos were made when I was 40
I am a 41-year-old single woman on this
fertility
journey alone. I started a year and a half ago because I had my second myomectomy, 1st one was at the age of 30—and my surgeon recommend that if I would like to have a baby to see about
fertility
treatments. It's been a rollercoaster of a ride.

Unsure if my body is still ovulating - any thoughts on attached pic?
But on the months I have tried tracking in between any
fertility
drug cycles, I never seem to get a clear line which is mentioned in the instruction pack- that it should be as dark or darker than the test line.

Donor eggs
Hello, Recently me and my husband went to a
fertility
clinic abroad to investigate the cause of recurrent failure implantation. I had 3 IVF fresh cycles and 1 frozen transfer. Our genetic test results came back good but my AMH is very low (0.26- I am 41 years old).

telling a pregnant friend you can’t see them
I was hoping for some words of encouragement - I have a friend who I have been friends with for a very long time, who really hasn’t been there for me throughout my
fertility
journey (quite self involved, but that’s another story) anyway, she is 6 months pregnant and has asked to meet up.

Symptoms Lower back ache on and off Lower abdominal cramp on and off Headache Nausea on and off are these all likely responses to the
fertility
drugs rather than pregnancy?? I haven’t had any implantation bleeding. I’m driving myself mad!

choosing birth method after IVF - should I be induced?
My consultant has offered me induction or C-section at 39 weeks due to the fact I’m assisted
fertility
and of an anxious disposition. keen to understand from anyone that’s been in a similar position and been induced with an oxytocin drip how it was?

coming off all hormones
I’ve had options from my surgeon and they would effect
fertility
which I don’t want to do so we discussed coming off all contraception and using tranexemic acid on heavier days of my natural cycle. How many of you have used this/done this method?

Mitochondrial ivf
Hello,I have read many posts here and wish you all so much luck and love through your
fertility
journeys. I am new to this site and am desperately trying to hear from those who have gone through Mitochondrial IVF, also known as mitochondrial replacement therapy (MRT) or three-parent IVF.

Clinic recommendations
I am considering The
Fertility
& Gynaecology Academy in London as they seem to have a good success rate published on their website for my age group and I prefer a smaller clinic who can offer more personalised treatments.

Prednisolone/ corticosteroid prior to IVF & embryo transfer
I understand the use of corticosteroid is not a practice in the UK as explained by a
fertility
gynaecologist here in London. Therefore, I stopped taking it as we will try an ivf treatment in the UK this year.

Alcohol IVF
We both eat well, exercise regularly and have been taking
fertility
supplements (Naitre). I am attending a 40th birthday event in 2 weeks and I am considering the possibility of drinking alcohol.

Digital Tests
Digital tests have not been very kind to me on this journey - And I have been told by my
fertility
clinic umpteen times not to use them due to inaccuracy & the worry that they cause. I just wanted to share this as on the same day I got 2-3 wks in the morning I also got 3 wks + in the evening.
