Mitochondrial ivf

Hello,I have read many posts here and wish you all so much luck and love through your fertility journeys.

I am new to this site and am desperately trying to hear from those who have gone through Mitochondrial IVF, also known as mitochondrial replacement therapy (MRT) or three-parent IVF.

We sadly lost our beautiful, darling son in August 2023, last year at the age of 23 months suddenly and unexpectedly 💔😢 We are trying and know that this may be our last hope in having a baby. I am older at 47 years old and have a low amh level. We have been given Cyprus as the place to go to, but don't really have any evidence of successful stories and am finding it hard to do so.

Any feedback and help would be so appreciated and received.

So sorry for your tremendous loss Beccacn2024 and I hope you are doing as ok as you can be. If you're not already aware of him, have a look at Dr. Merhi, he does a lot on Instagram and does different and cutting edge things with IVF. I think he spoke recently about mitochondrial replacement. Really hoping it works for you.
