ROBERT COWAN - NATURAL TREATMENTS. FROM THE CURRENT MIGRAINE SUMMIT. CONTINUES TODAY https://www.migraineworldsummit.com I thought these notes from his talk were interesting for people to see. He talked about non-medical treatments, a really interesting chat for those of us who don't want to swallow

Chronic aches & pains
My question is can boosting minerals & vitamins enhance levo uptake and absorption? When originally diagnosed 21yrs ago and put on 100mg levo I had joint pain. 15/11/17 my TSH was 10.7 and on 75mg levo this was increased to 100mg 11/1 /18 retested TSH was 0.37 since then I have been taking supplements

19 years old, wanting to self inject B12??? - long post!
I'm 19 years old, female. In October 2017 I was diagnosed as being deficient in B12. I initially went to the doctors for headaches and he ran a complete blood test. My B12 count was 92. I've previously suffered from iron deficiency anaemia with my lowest count being 4. I'm also deficient in Vitamin D

LEVOTHYROXINE 50 MG AND FERROUS FUMARATE 210 MG X 2
My daughter is on 50 mg of Levothyroxine and iron tablets. She's in hospital at the moment and has been for the last 3 months. I've just found out that they are giving her 210 mg of Iron tablet at the same time as the Levothyroxine which shouldn't happen. This has been happening for 3 months and they

Finally blood results
So finally got my blood results as follow: Ferritin: 145 (expected as I take
Ferrous
sulphate
every day for months) Folate: 15.3 VitB12: 444, which I understand is good from a UK perspective, but a bit on the low in other places.

Epsom salts for pain relief...?
Hi all, I’m really suffering today. I woke up at 5:30 with my usual unbearable period pains. Had a hot bath, refilled my hot water bottle about 10 times and took some naproxen but I’m still in a lot of pain. I have my first internal scan on Tuesday with a gynaecologist that specialises in Endometriosis

Iron tablets: change of stool colour after years
A delightful question for a Wednesday evening, but which I hope someone can answer. I've been taking 305mg ferrous fumarate daily for three or so years now, and my stool changed colour in the normal way; black as Guinness. However, for the last few days my stool has been much lighter in colour; I haven't

T3 and Weak/Heavy legs
Hi Is it possible for T3 to cause heavy/weak legs? I have upped my dose to half a 5mg pill around 330pm as my endo suggested I do that as I was undermedicating myself, my TSH was 1.3 and I felt awful. Also b12 very low but just started supplementing that and also on 3 iron ferrous fumarate a day as

Magnesium Spray?
I think one or two a-fib posters in the past have mentioned using magnesium oil or spray, and I'm wondering how effective this is overall? Has the use helped with ectopics, or a-fib, or sleep, or general sense of well-being? And can the oil or spray, or even epsom salts soaks, be safely used in addition

Symptoms and next steps with testing
Hi Can anyone help with advice on symptoms and testing please? I found my way here after checking on symptoms and have been lurking trying to learn about thyroid issues, trying to figure if this is my problem. I did my own basic thyroid check through Medichecks and got these results: TSH 1.98 (0.27
