On the IC!!
Well, yesterday I posted I’d done my week 4 5k and would be going for a walk round Dartmoor National Park. The walk started off really well, beautiful day, lovely location, packed out and we only just managed to park but it was lovely and cool under the trees. We decided to do the 4 mile round trip.

The St Thomas Hospital Transcobalamin testing service
Hello, Has anyone on this forum had experience for the transcobalamin testing service offered at St Thomas Hospital? I am to understand that it requires a GP referral letter to get an appointment but the patient only pays a £15+vat private blood-drawing charge? Have I got this right from the literature

Support before GP visit
I am so very confused about what to do with my situation. Anti-parietal cells have been confirmed in 2013, but I've not had treatment for this. I am repeatedly told my diagnosis is not something I need to worry about at the moment. In terms of facts, my most recent blood test taken on the 12th June 2018

Weird chest infections- anyone else? How long do they last?
Anyone else get odd chest infections that don't have any of the typical symptoms other than setting off asthma? Had a bit of a farce in A and E on Saturday after 4 days of asthma getting worse. They said it wasn't asthma (because I don't present typically) but freaked out over the high HR I get with

Vitamins
Hi All, I hope you’re enjoying this beautiful sunny day (well it is in the south of UK)! I had a phone consultation with my GP after test results and she got advice from the endo. Dr said she’s not going to prescribe levo yet(as I expected) and booked me in for a repeat blood test in a month. She did

Week 8 completed!! Week 9 I can’t wait!!!
Well what a strange week!! Did my 2nd run on Sunday with no problems then had my sore foot while out for a stroll with my son that evening. It felt like I was walking in a large pebble every step. I really thought I was going to be out of action for a while. I soaked it in Epsom salts, rubbed Voltarol

Turnaround time for Blue Horizons?
Have been SI b12 for 4 months now and taking cofactors of
ferrous
sulphate
, vitamin D3, magnesium and methyl folate. Can't do much around the house without feeling out of breath and struggle to walk upstairs or up even the slightest hill.

Perhaps not utilising B12 - how to know? what to do?
Hi, I'm new to this forum. I don't *think* I have PA but it's one of several possibilities that I'm looking into. My profile has more info and you're welcome to stalk me on the Thyroid UK forum if you like. ;) but I'll give a brief background after my question here. Is it possible to have high B12 levels

Iron alternatives + iron interactions
I've been put on Ferrous Fumarate and can't tolerate it. I think I've read that this isn't the "best" form to take - am I remembering right? If it's true, does "best" mean most easily aborbed, most effective, or what? And what's best for correcting low ferritin? My ferritin was very low a few weeks ago
