embaby back transferred in on day 3
thanks to everyone who replied to my post about double vs single transfers. I decided to go for a single embryo transfer in the end. I just thought the risk of twins and all the things that come with it would be too much for us physically and financially . So we transferred a top quality embryo today

Don’t give up fighting
After many years of battling with various GPs and HCAs , same as far too many people on here, I’ve made another breakthrough!! Following a referral letter from Dr K and a covering letter from us I had a call from my GP today. He had read and digested the letters and has not only agreed to prescribe

Post-Covid lung issues - what to expect?
Hi all, I had Covid in mid November and have been sick ever since, particularly (and perhaps only) breathlessness and fatigue. I was first diagnosed with asthma, but the meds only seemed to stave off a worse episode of breathlessness. So I went back to the docs and insisted on being seen, as I was

I had PMR in my 50s. Was treated with prednisone until the PMR burned itself little over a year later. Last June, 20 years later, my hands and wrists became a problem. No swelling but pain & stiffness in fingers and wrists. Carpal tunnel syndrome was the first dx. Over the summer pain and stiffness

Tinnitus
I was diagnosed PV with positive Jak2 in November, 2022. Hydroxy and low dose aspirin has seemed to work for me. Good blood tests, only mild fatigue. But past few months, I developed a ringing in my ears and decided to have a hearing exam (at the urging of my PCP). It turns out that I have a condition

Blood collection device
Hi, I recently did a home blood test with Zoe. I was really dreading it as I thought it was a finger prick test, and I really don’t like that, fainted getting tested for gestational diabetes. However, it wasn’t a finger prick test. It was a thing you stick on your upper arm with a collection tube at

I have been taking 2 grains a day and haven’t been feeling fatigued so I am happy on this dose. My only concern is that my vitamin levels have gone down and my TPOAb antibodies have gone up since my last blood test. I’m taking the same supplements and don’t think I’ve been doing anything differently

after a stent…
This is for information only for those who may have a stent fitted recently or about to. It’s about side effects that can happen and why. I had a stent fitted to open up my LAD just before Christmas this year after being on a medical regime for 11 months. The procedure took about an hour rather

Newly Diagnosed
Hi all,I've been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism this week. They don't know the root cause yet, I've to get more blood tests. I started taking Carbimazole 15mg a day on Tuesday. Since then I feel sick every time I eat, and vomited once. I was wondering if anyone else had this experience? Does it go away

Feeling worse
Hi all Hope everyone's had a good start to 2024. I was started on levothyroxine 25mcg on 19th December, after being on it for 2 weeks I did feel a very slight improvement, it only lasted a couple days, and have been feeling worse since. The levo was teva brand. I have collected my new month prescription

I have been on prednisolone for almost 2 years for Polymyalgia Rheumatica (GP Diagnosis) but over the last year I have been losing strength and other neuromuscular issues. Who should I contact?
I've been diagnosed with graves disease and put onto carbimazole and beta blockers, I didn't have any blood tests for the first 6 months and started to feel better from my original symptoms, (terrible hand tremors, palpations, anxiety, hair loss, lots of toilet visits) then worse in a different way,

Not sure what's wrong.
Hi, I wasn't sure as to which community to post in but here goes. I am a 52 year old male. About 6 months ago I became unwell due to a virus of some sort. It’s likely I had COVID but I never tested positive for it. Ever since I’ve just not been right and most days I have a lack of energy and usually
