blood test results

I have been taking 2 grains a day and haven’t been feeling fatigued so I am happy on this dose.

My only concern is that my vitamin levels have gone down and my TPOAb antibodies have gone up since my last blood test. I’m taking the same supplements and don’t think I’ve been doing anything differently. Can anyone advise why this might be the case? Could overindulging over Christmas affect these results? The only other think I can think of is that I’ve started using an aerosol deodorant!

The only symptoms I’m having is that I’ve been feeling fuzzy headed and my eyes are twitching - it’s not really brain fog - it’s more like feeling a bit dizzy. I’ve had this for a while and it’s at its worst on my day off on a Thursday when I’ve just worked for three long days. Could this be related to any vitamins or my thyroid?

Thanks in advance. Any advice on how to increase my vitamin levels and decrease my antibodies would be appreciated!

do you split your dose normally

Or just day before test

How long before test was last dose

What vitamin supplements are you taking

Folate is low

IMPORTANT......If you are taking vitamin B complex, or any supplements containing biotin, remember to stop these 7 days before ALL BLOOD TESTS , as biotin can falsely affect test results

In week before blood test, when you stop vitamin B complex, you might want to consider taking a separate folate supplement (eg Jarrow methyl folate 400mcg)

Are you on gluten free/dairy free diet

Hi, I always take one grain in the morning and one grain in the afternoon so my last dose had been 2pm the day before and I had blood tests at 8am. I stopped taking B-complex a week before. I always do exactly the same thing.

The supplements I take are: B-complex, Vitamin D, Vitamin C, iron, Magnesium, zinc, selenium and omega 3.

Try taking a separate folate in the week you stop vitamin B complex. This will maintain folate levels

Hey there again :

I'm glad you have found some relief of symptoms with NDT -

just a thought - some people who have Hashimoto's find that introducing Natural Desiccated Thyroid

triggers and upsets their immune system further -

and need to consider trying synthetic T3 and T4 treatment options.
