Would love some advice
Hi. Firstly, I just want to say how grateful I am to have found this forum. It is invaluable and has answered some of my questions before I have even asked them - ie. blurry eyes etc. I would love some advice though if you can still put up with me. My consultant reduced my 40mg dose of prednisolone

Hello lovely ladies, I hope you are all managing to keep well and are staying safe. I had major debulking last year (June 2019) aged 49. I had started having intermittent hot flushes before I was diagnosed (stage 3c high grade) but after my op. the Menopause really really kicked in. I'm really struggling

Just circumcised 7 days ago. Painful erections and stitches stabbing my penis and very annoying.
I was just circumcised one week ago today. I also had a umbilical hernia repair and vasectomy at the same time. So needless to say I was a little sore. However i feel like it's going okay a week in. However i have some concerns. First I have been getting multiple erections throughout the day and night

Recent PET SCAN results
I have been feeling good being on Ibrance and Femara. Have only had two small bone mets so far until my recent PET SCAN. Showed a small area on my small intestine that I was told by my medical oncologist that it is unrelated to the breast cancer. Will see my surgical oncologist this Thursday to find

Help and advice regarding management of surgical menopause at 27 years old?
Hiya, I'm 27 years old, just been diagnosed with early stage uterine cancer and as it's estrogen positive, I will be unable to commence hormone replacement therapy after my hysterectomy (inc. uterus, cervix, fallopian tubes and removal of both ovaries). Any advice and help on how to mentally prepare

I have had a total hysterectomy including ovary removal can it come back?
So February this year I had a major operation to remove everything ovaries, womb the lot. Plus bowel surgery. I had a stoma until August and I have recently had an operation to reverse it back. Just the other day I noticed I had similar symptoms to when I had endometriosis. I’m very scared that it’s

Anyone know current waiting times for endoscopy in UK?
I hoped that I would never have to have an endoscopy again - I had a 270 degree fundoplication and hiatus hernia repair 4 years ago, no acid indigestion since - but in the last couple of years I have suffered from a very dry mouth, sometimes a burnt tongue with loss of taste and sometimes a very stuffed

How long will it take until I have my energy back?
I was diagnosed with ovarian/peritoneal cancer 14 months ago. Surprising as I had bilateral oophorectomy (and tubes) removed 10 years ago due to benign cysts. It was considered to be inoperable and I had the full round of chemo and all the miseries that go with that. I was very fortunate after this to

Occasional sore tongue
It seems my tongue and sometimes the roof of my mouth feel like I burnt myself with a hot beverage when that is not the case. Sometimes brushing the area with my tooth brush seems to help. I’ve tried all sorts of toothpaste formulations. In can vary during the day and from day to day. I avoid any toothpastes
