Breast pain

I occasionally have breast pain after a double mastectomy, 8 chemo treatments and 30 radiation treatments. I am now on Ibrance and Femara. I also had 16 lymph nodes removed on the side which had the cancer. Is it common to experience breast pain and what causes it? Just had a PET scan with good results. Thanks in advance for your comments!

You've had a lot of lymph nodes removed, so lymphedema may be an issue. If the area swells and worth running by your doctor. But maybe it's the nerve endings trying to connect after your bi-lateral. But a PET with good results is fantastic!!!❤️

Sounds like we have had pretty much the same treatments. I think the breast is the scar tissue being irritated, I also have more breast pain when it gets colder. Little advice though if all your co-workers are male it bothers them when you rub your sore breast. One of them finally told me this and felt really bad. Hope this helps you and good health to you
