Jarrow B12 MethylCobalamin
As I am waiting to try and get the Intrinsic factor bloodtest which my GP is reluctant to do, I think injections will be an even bigger no no. Is the Jarrow MethylCobalamin lozenges 5000mg or 1000mg any good? Which one is best? I will wait for my blood results to come back but I think I need to start

Gp and Intrinsic Factor testing..

Intrinsic Factor test result
Hello there. I have just had the result of my IFA test and was hoping someone could help with interpretation. It was 1.69 (>6). According to the text that came with it, this clearly shows that I do not have PA. I have though read on this site that a negative result does not necessarily rule out PA. Since

Assistance required with interpreting B12 and Pernicious Anaemia Blood Tests.....

Serrapeptase & Wobenzym N - amazing results!
I wanted to share a little bit of good news with you all. Started taking serrapeptase at the beginning of December in the hope that if I had any tubal blockages, scar tissue from my ectopic or fibroid removals, etc that it would help to reduce this & maybe unblock my tubes if there was a problem (the

Helicobacter pylori IgG and PA
Hello again. Just thought I would re-post this on a new thread. I would add only that today I discovered on the Wikipedia entry for PA that there is a link between the bacterium Helicobacter pylori and PA. I have just been diagnosed with having this bacterium, though it is now inactive. Has anyone else

Are my pins and needles, congestion and heartburn related to my pernicious anaemia?
HI. I have been diagnosed with P.A. for 13 years. My only initial symptom was tiredness but as my father also had P.A. I was tested and found to have low B12 levels and antibodies to parietal cells and have since been on 3 monthly injections. I now also test positive for antibodies to intrinsic factor

Gluten intolerance?
Hi all, I am a 27 year old male who recently went travelling in south east Asia. After 3 months I had to return home after being sure I was dying out there. Having seen my GP I have had all the blood tests done for the relevant diseases as well as normal blood counts but nothing seems to be showing

Symptoms and next steps with testing
Hi Can anyone help with advice on symptoms and testing please? I found my way here after checking on symptoms and have been lurking trying to learn about thyroid issues, trying to figure if this is my problem. I did my own basic thyroid check through Medichecks and got these results: TSH 1.98 (0.27

sharing a small positive
Disclaimer: I haven't been diagnosed yet, but endo is suspected. Just wanted to share some hope. I am on my period at the moment. The first day was the usual awful start; woke up at 1.45am by the pain, feeling like I'd been shot in the pelvis, stumbling around for painkillers and sitting in a hot bath

Folate & Vitamin B12; SAMe & Methyl.
This is prompted by a post from BBruce: "Stay away from Vitamin B12" I reviewed the folate-PCa literature 2 years ago. B12 is covered in that post. What seemed lacking in the new thread was context, IMO. A number of the B vitamins feed into 'one-carbon metabolism' (a term that is usually found in PCa

caster oil packs - best way to use?
My partner has ordered me some castor oil as I've read castor oil packs can help with period pains (mine don't respond to traditional heat pads/hot water bottles). Has anyone found the best way to use these, and with the least mess?!

Hi All, after I was diagnosed with Hashimotos last year, I thought my quality of life would improve once prescribed 100mcg T4 daily but unfortunately it has not been the case. I have been supplementing with Vitamin D and K which has improved my Vat D results. I am still exhausted, have dry scalp, hair
