HORRIBLE severe muscle pain, whole body, doctor says everything ok? What is this? Hurts to walk, sit, stand?
Hi, I am in a lot of pain. All my muscles are very tight and stiff. ROCK HARD. My arms, shoulders. legs, butt, back, neck......there is no part on my body that isn't rock hard tight. I had someone touch my upper arm lightly, they were shocked how rock hard my arm was. It hurts to bend, sit, stand, walk

How do you test for b12 absorption?
How can I test my b12 absorption? I had my b12 tested a few months ago and it looked normal, but I have Hashimoto's and also tingling hands, dizziness, eye twitching, and gut issues -- all of which correlate to low b12. So I'm wondering if I'm maybe just not absorbing it. I've read that this can happen

High iron saturation
I'm told that my iron is fine or that the ferritin should be closer to 50. Would supplementing iron be wise if the total iron is 133? I'm supplementing with methyl B12/folate and have brought those levels up to optimal ranges. They were low at the time of these iron results. Should I retest the iron

Advice on respiratory issues.
Hi all. I recently had a chest x ray in September, a mid way request as my scan is not due until February. It was fine. However I have noticed that occasionally it feels as if something has hit my respiratory system making me cough, it could be a smell that I am not familiar with. I am reluctant

Hello, I hope you are all keeping as well as can be. Its only my second time posting here, lupus is still very new to me. For the last 2 weeks I have had pain in my left rib that radiates and is worse on deep breaths, the doctor thought it was pleurisy so told me to rest and take ibroprofen and paracetamol

GP refuses to prescribe Hydroxocobalamin as B12 is within "Therapeutic levels"
Hi Everyone :) I have been diagnosed with Pernicious Anaemia since 2013 and have injections at my GP surgery every 10 weeks. I am due another injection in around 2 weeks time. I had a telephone appointment with a Nurse Practitioner yesterday to get my hydroxocobalamin prescription, who insisted on more

Doctor said its Covid
I am not sure this is the right place to post but I am worried and frightened. I have an anxiety disorder and I’m 35 years old. I also have sinus tachycardia. I started 10 days ago with Covid symptoms after daughter and husband tested positive. I am now on an inhaler as I keep getting shortness of breath

Surgery or Radiation?
I recently found out I have PCa and I've been given those two choices. My Urologist consulted with 5 colleagues and recommends robotic RP but the Oncologist says the results are likely to be the same with EBRT but possible side effects are different. The decision is daunting at best and I keep flipping

Any help/advice welcome.Desperate.
Hi. First time here, but desperate at this point. Was diagnosed with GERD 5 years ago. Symptoms started when pregnant with my second child. Nexium daily helps the reflux. I have had (what I assume to be) ibs flare ups for about 8 years now. But they we milder and I don't remember them being this severe

PA and Neuro/Immune symptoms affecting diagnosis of secondary conditions?
Hi, I was wondering if anyone here has had experience with the neurological and the immune system affects of PA? I was diagnosed with autoimmune B12 deficiency when I fell unconscious and gave myself whiplash back in 2016. My level of B12 was 88. Sadly the 3 years of symptoms beforehand were not considered

Low ferritin low hemoglobin celiac three years ?
I have posted before but at my wits end. I was diagnosed celiac three years ago due to very low ferritin and hemoglobin. I began gluten free diet and iron supplements and my levels were back to normal. Dr took me off iron and I continued gluten free. Past labs have shown a steady decline in my hemoglobin
