Well, I’d never thought I would be writing a follow up about an e mail
I’m still in hosp feeling very much under the weather
and even thinking hosp food is ok
My INR has been jumping about, prob all the different drugs have been it’s given, the next day it will be 2.6 crazy. Prob the antibiotics as having those iv
The docs apart from one, who I will not having anywhere near me, are ok if they don’t know say something so, go into. Teacher mode.
After all the tests that have been done, turns out that my bloods inflammable are twice what they were a week or two ago
Chest X-ray shows one lung completely filly up with some gunk the other one is getting that way. So never believe people when they it’s ‘just your APS’
Get it investigated.
INR 2’7 wonder what the dose of Warfarin will be. Tonight!
On the lung side things aren’t great so cfor the past couple of days have had 10l+ with a mask trying to get my oxygen levels up. If this treatments doesn’t work can have a machine like a cpap to push some air in. If that doesn’t work it’s pink fluffy cloud time.
Hope that makes some things I not really on this planet.
Love and hugs to all

Are you being seen by a hematologist there in hospital?
You know... I wonder about perhaps shifting you to LMWH injections while you are so ill, plus a little clopidogrel and of course a statin if you are known to tolerate it.
What is your inr supposed to be normally? Do you have neuro involvement? ( a good reason to add clopidogrel- but it takes about 5 days to get to steady state in system.)
As you very likely know, LMWH- I’m going to give enoxaparin as the example as it’s the one used on me when I was on it- prescribed by Prof Hannah Cohen- was 1 mg per kg of body weight every 12 hours ( this is called split dose.)
For APS it must be given this way- and high intensity. For example I weigh 112 pounds and I was prescribed 60 mg each injection.
This would be preferable to a wildly swinging INR?
Hi there, I hope they get you sorted as soon as possible, a good idea to only entertain decent and helpful medical opinions, but hard when you are stuck in a hospital bed. I hope you have a better day today! MaryF
