Surgery fears
Hi there, I'm having surgery next month to confirm if my symptoms are indeed caused by endo. I don't know if it is just me but I've been having these horrible dreams where they perform the surgery and don't find any sign of endo, or I'm at a gynaecologist appointment and the doctor doesn't believe my

Anxiety before period
For the ladies (or those who have someone who experiences this) but anyone else have SEVERE anxiety, before their periods? About a week out from my period - and it always seems like my anxiety, is almost TRIPLED, during this time. Not sure if it’s PMDD, anxiety, Or just acting up due to the hormones

Norethisterone before IVF short protocol
Has anyone used Norethisterone before a short ivf protocol when they don’t get periods (I have Ashermans)? Do you know why they start stimulation the day after finishing Norethisterone in this case, but if someone uses Norethisterone prior to an ivf cycle and usually has periods they insist on waiting

Hi lovelies Logging back into this forum after a break from IVF for nine months it it so lovely to read so many success stories and gives me hope! Earlier this week we began our next IVF cycle. This one is a bit of a milestone for us as we think it will be our last cycle with my eggs before we move

Severe Period Pain but no diagnosis
Hi, I haven’t yet been diagnosed with anything - endometriosis etc… but I joined this forum to see if it’s worth pushing for it to be investigated? I’m only 18 but I have had several trouble with my period since I was 9, to the point where I am curled up on the floor in agony, or where I’m shaking badly

Hello everyone, I'm 19 and I have had crippling period pain since I was 13. I am in so much pain it is making me vomit and pass out every time I have a period (which is fine when I'm at home but is not fine when I am in the middle of Boots!!) I have been going to the GP about this for years and have

Tranexamic acid - any advice?
In short, I have endo & adeno and am currently treatment free whilst waiting for a hysterectomy (I'm 45). My periods are pretty heavy and painful and a doctor has suggested trying Tranexamic acid for a few months. I just wondered if anyone else has tried this in a similar situation and did it work? Thanks

Endo diet - cycle changes?
Hi everyone, I have been on the Endo diet for the past few months now and since my cycles seemed to of changed. My cycle length is shorter - 25 days now and my periods are much heavier aswell. The Endo pain that I used to get pre-period has improved which is great. It’s all happened quite quickly though

12 day cycle
Came off the combined pill a few months ago to try to conceive. Completly aware that the pill was helping to keep periods regular, however my period ended a week ago today and today it's back. Could it just be my body getting back to 'normal ' and this is expected? Or unnormal? Guess I'm just worrying
