Any IVF cycle buddies?

Hi lovelies

Logging back into this forum after a break from IVF for nine months it it so lovely to read so many success stories and gives me hope!

Earlier this week we began our next IVF cycle. This one is a bit of a milestone for us as we think it will be our last cycle with my eggs before we move on to a donor egg journey.

We are trying a few different things this time, I took testosterone gel for four weeks prior to my cycle and I’m taking growth hormone injections every other day. I also found out recently I have high NK cells so will be having an intralipid drip on the day of transfer. Plus my hubby is having an extraction operation. We are literally trying anything and everything this cycle!

Anyone going through a cycle at the moment too who would like to be cycle buddies? xxx

I just started my first cycle with buserelin injections on Monday this week (so day 5 of down-reg), happy to buddy up. This is our first go at IVF, we'll be doing the long protocol

How are you feeling so far? I’m on day four of stims, been feeling very tired the last couple of days and can definitely feel my ovaries so hopefully something is going on!

I’m doing the short protocol using menopur this time. Xx

Feeling ok so far, just a bit awkward with the self-injecting! Only on day 6 of down-reg though so I expect I'll be feeling it a bit more in a week or so! Do you know roughly when you'll be in for EC? x

Hi ya, sorry for my slow reply, last week has been a bit hectic juggling work and IVF appointments but got some time off now. How are you feeling so far? My EC is on Monday, excited and nervous about what this week will bring. Xx

Hey, no worries, that's exciting! Hope it all goes well for you! Are you taking something orange with you? I'm ok, but I've been having night sweats and mood swings the past couple of days. I shouted at my poor husband for something piddly but he thought it was funny. I've got my baseline scan tomorrow so should be able to start stims soon Good luck for tomorrow, I hope they get a lovely batch of eggs xxx

I started my 2nd cycle last week, have collection done on Monday fingers crossed things fo well this time. I have only three follicles ready so hopefully get some good eggs.

Are you doing long or short protocol? Hope things good well for you xx

I’m doing short protocol using menopur this time. My egg collection will hopefully be a week on Monday. 🤞🏻

Hi Kat_15

I’m on first cycle and doing my injections every night. My first scan is scheduled for Tuesday. Feeling really tired and sleepy specially in the afternoon. It’s really difficult to manage as work is quite demanding. No mood swing yet.
