a little drama
I have just reduced to 5mg. And like many others my energy is crashing. So a bit of a roller coaster and trying to plan things so that I don’t have too much excitement all at once! Wednesday my husband was diagnosed with detached retina, yesterday was an hour and a half trip to eye hospital for his

still not 100%
I don’t have a fever and my throat only hurts when I first wake up. Then it goes away. I have so much post nasal drip so I think that’s what’s making it hurt. I was out of work for two days due to my colonoscopy, and tomorrow is looking like it’ll be a snow day due to a huge storm. I am going to try

Covid Vaccines - Can you still book them?
Hi all, something that has slipped my mind but it’s been 6 months since I had my last Covid Vaccine. Are the Immune Deficient still eligible? If so how do we do it, is it via 119, or do we go to a walk in or are we referred (I hope not GPs hopeless) the online service doesn't allow bookings any more

Mask Wearing
It is the same here in Australia. You don’t have to stay home with Covid. I think it’s very unfair and irresponsible. I wear a mask in supermarkets, doctors, pharmacies. I don’t go to crowded places anymore- such as concerts etc. I missed out on Paul McCartney when he was out here. Would loved to have

scared
I slept for about 4 hours. My throat doesn’t hurt anymore but I still don’t feel amazing. I took my temp and it’s 99.1 which is causing a lot of anxiety. I did sleep under blankets and I am still under a few blankets, so maybe that’s why my temp is elevated. I’m just really anxious I hate feeling this

Some encouragement. If you’re looking for that.
disclaimer I will be going into detail so if you might be triggered know that it does end well. I started coming here around 2016. Anxiety had found me and I completely lost it. I let it take over and ended up spiraling for a few years. I would post how I was feeling, as many do and just hope that

arrhythmia and the flu and Covid vaccine
Hi all! I had a physical on Wednesday and since I hadn’t received my flu and Covid vaccine yet this year went ahead and got them. I came home and did a workout and felt fine until evening when fever and chills hit along with some mild sporadic heart arrhythmia. I took it easy the next couple days and

Wife getting MMR vaccine booster - isolate or not?
I'm an SLL patient, 55 years old, now about 2.5 years into remission after 6 FCR treatments. I just recovered from a recent (and thankfully mild) bout of shingles. My shingles was so mild that my GP wasn't convinced it actually was shingles! She had me tested for herpes zoster antibodies, and for good

Buprenorphine...help with prescription please!!
Since my neurologist retired and I found a new one, my pharmacy is not accepting his order for the buprenorphine because he's saying it's for RLS and the pharmacy is saying something about it is for pain but since this new neurologist isn't a pain doctor, he said he can't prescribe it that way even though

Leg Pain pt 3
Writing again because one of you lovely people suggested I saw my MRI results for myself. She was right, my doctor said it was wear and tear in the back. Keep taking the painkillers and walk. But I did see the results and it is Grade 1 degenerative spondylolisthesis. He did not suggest physio. But
